| Is this true regarding toys? I noticed that Royce does not play with his toys or he would play with one toys for a couple of mitunes then leave it. My friend came to visit and she told me of course he won't be he has over fifty toys to choose from and he doesnt know which one he wants to play with . Like spoiled kids when they have so many toys and you keep on buying them new ones they will play for a while with the new one s then get tired of them and wait for the next toy ? Is this true? My friend told me to stop buying toys to hide the ones that he has and leave him only 2 toys and change the toys every week ? |

| I don't know if it is true or not but I kind of do that because I get tired of picking so many up. It really doesn't matter how many are out, they both want the same one anyway. |

| Jake probably has about 75 toys, and he still plays with all of them. I got him a dog house bed, and he stuffs all his toys in it. He still has his very first toys that his breeder gave him and, in fact, he pulled one of them out the other day and was so happy to see it. He plays with toys ALL the time...he loves loves loves toys! Try putting some of them away for awhile and bring one out periodically and see what he does. |

| never too many toys............ I have to keep buying more because they destroy most of them. they have their favorites and will pick them out of a pile of toys. your friend was just jealous she didn't have that many toys herself.

| Chloe rarely play with toys. She chews her rope toy all the time, but that's it... She's got billions of them, though!

| I've heard that too...but I'm not sure I believe it. Also, you have to think about the "square footage per toy" you have in your home. The bigger it is, the more toys they should probably have That way, you can have a few in each room that get rotated through the house-we have some in the bedroom, some in the playpen, some in the hall, the office, the living room, the family room, and outside! When I go to pick them all up, there are LOTS, but that's ok. They carry their favorites around more often than the others. I put their toys out in thirds-meaning I let them have about a third of their toys, and then in 1-2 weeks I put those away, and bring out others. When toys get too "loved" I either mend them or toss them out and replace them with new. They don't get too bored this way.

| I'm always joking that Sukoshi has enough to open her own Toys R Us store for pets, and she still plays with all of them! There are some "favorites" that she goes to more often, but they are all used all the time. I know because each night, I pick up all the toys from around the house and put them back where they belong (in her toy box, her bedroom, our bedroom, and her crate), and then each evening, I have to do the same thing because she's drug them all out again! It's hilarious too because she can have 50 toys spread through the living room, and she'll still go into her bedroom and drag yet another one out because there's one particular one she has in mind that isn't there yet. |

| I split Adie and Cassie's toys into three separate bags and change them out, but both of them tend to play with the "toy of the day or week" and not play with anything else. Adie is going through a tennis ball phase right now. I took her to pet smart and showed her scads of toys but she chose the little tennis balls to buy. (She spent her own money she earned from babysitting.) I would never spoil her by purchasing a toy just because she wanted it. </IMG> |

| I kind of do that, but I leave out his 3 favorite toys all the time, and then I have like 30 other toys that I rotate in and out.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | If Ozzie has 1, he has 100 toys easily -- and you never know which one he is going to play with. They are strewn about all the time and no matter how many times I pick them up, there is usually a half dozen or so ill-placed at doorways (better to trip on), on top of my shoes, or lying on the furniture so that I get a start when I sit down and it squeaks! This is now complicated by Toby the Kitten's growing collection of cat toys, all of which Ozzie thinks also belong to him. And Toby returns the favor by occasionally playing with one of Ozzie's rope bones or usually his Bobo (loofa) toy. |
