For those of you who don't know, Elaine makes georgeous sculped clay yorkies (so life like). The one she gave me looks like my Bubba. I have placed it on my mantle with the tiny flossie she made to go with it. Just imagine the time, work and love she puts into these. Thank you again, I sooooo glad I made the trip.

We all so appreciate it, especially knowing how tired you must have been after hosting all of this. Huge hugs to you girl!!!! By doing what you did, you allowed all of us who had been waiting and wondering, to share and be a part of this fantastic saga.

Now I have one more favor to ask of you, when you have the time. Can you describe for us, the way it unfolded, when Papi first arrived, his meeting with those amazing angels, Lori and Bre, and then reaching out to his little Patticake. I am so dying to know details, have been trying to imagine the whole scenario..... the expressions on all their faces, their hugs, their words.I am sure many folk on this thread would love the details. so if you have the time, I would really appreciate it.

I thought of everyone all day yesterday and could not get on line due to
a family gathering that went well into the the night.
I just read through all of yesterday's posts and what else can one say.
This story should go on the "Oprah" show. She loves dogs I bet she would
show it.

Patticake left a present for Papi, I guess that's one way to make yourself at home. Now Patticake be a good girl...and let Papi love you and take care of you...These first few days are going to be so important...I'm glad he's taking his time with her...YorkieTalk can be sooooooo time consuming.

I just got a chance to read all thru this and look at the pics and I have to say this is the warmest and fuzziest I've felt in a long time. Doing this for Papi was an amazing acheivement. You guys and gals are the best! I wish them many, many happy years together.

Papi,
I am trying to picture you right now with your little Patticake, sitting on your rock, where you sat with your precious Kassie, remembering your life with your sweet angel, relating to your new baby, stories about her predecessor. I said in an earlier post Papi, that your darling Kassie is perched there on her rock on the Rainbow Bridge, her little tail wagging joyously as she watches you and little Patticake, knowing finally that her beloved Papi will no longer be alone, that once again there are little paws following his footsteps into the sunshine.

I think about your first day with Patticake, what it felt like after meeting her for the first time, reaching out for that fat little Teddy Bear, knowing she was finally yours, after that long trek she had made with those two special, special ladies, Lori and Bre.

I think about your first night with this new baby, the little "present" she left for you on the sofa, LOL, snuggling with you as you both fell asleep, bonding together, safe and snug.

I think about you waking early this morning, with that warm feeling, that you are no longer alone, that you have to rise and take care of, and share the day with your new baby.

I think of you a lot sweet Papi, since I have "met" you in the past 2 weeks.

I am so happy that Papi is taking some time to bond with PattiCake. It feels so good to know that they are all together now. I have been with you guys ever science Papi's first post about his beloved Cassie, and here we are now with tears of happines in our eyes b/c Papi found his new baby. Thank you everyone for everything you have done for Papi. He truly deserves the best.

He is such a gentleman, but these threads are steadily increasing. Too much for him to even begin to answer. If he could just post to one person and then it could be shared, no one would have "hurt" feelings. His life is going to be very occupied and taking the time to get to know Patticake.

we were waiting for Papi in the back yard, I had my daughter put a note on the door to come around back. ( we wouldnt have heard the door)

I went inside for a drink and glanced out the window and saw a blue car in the front. so I waited and didnt see anyone, got my drink and looked out the door and there came Papi walking up the sidewalk....I opened the door and we both smiled and hugged.
I took him out back as I opened the door I told Lori he is here. I dont remember if she had her camera ready or not...at first it all went so fast, I was trying to snap pics in between the videos. and still be a person not behind a camera lol

we talked all day about everything.....patticake, kassie, our furbabies, the jets flying overhead.Papi enjoyed that too. it was like long time friends getting together..thats what it felt like...there is no way i can say what all was said in the order it was said lol....I'm lucky I got done what all I did lol

handing her flowers and a ty
bre handing patticake to him
papi thanking lori with a kiss
etc...again I hope you all enjoyed them...

Papi Train, HAPPY Train

Papi train, HAPPY train we've traveled far,
Across the USA to where we are.

From my birthplace in Kansas, from my Mommies loving arms,
Lori, Bre and I traveled beautiful country, and seen many farms.

My farm left in Kansas was so special you see,
My Brenda Mommie she'll always be.

We met so many people at Elaines, oh what a delight,
Snuggling, cozying up with little Bre at night.

My forever home in this life with Papi is a new start,
I'll be his shadow, we'll not be apart.

God placed me here for one reason I know,
Being Papi's PattiCake will make his face glow.

Oh what fun is in store today,
Oh my goodness, we'll romp and play.

No more sadness on Papi's face,
All because of the love from the human race.

I promise my Brenda Mommie, right from the start,
