Papi...You tell it like it is, and it is your honesty and love for Kassie that brought us all to tears and a bond that will be forever. We don't care about grammar and punctuation...We care about your thoughts, your feelings and yes, the magnificent way you can tell a story...It keeps us interested and entertained. I have said all along that I personally think Lauren should be the one to write your book, all you have to do is tell her (and us) the story. So don't consider it writing, consider it posting...whatever you want to call it...I'm going to read it!!! You speak from the heart and soul, and I for one appreciate just that. I love your stories and I never want them to end...Please post when you can...thank you from the bottom of my heart... HAPPY FATHERS DAY, PAPI!!! |
That picture of you and Patticake was Breathtaking Papi !! I'm so glad to see you post and even gladder that you both are finding each other. I wish I had that photo when I did the Cards... What a great story and I wish you many many days of Patti Kisses. |
Papi You Humble Humble Man you You my man are Very Humble:) IKnew about your past Job;) But let me saw. you may have not been edjucated like some in a school but you had the School of Life to teach you and you Got a A+++ in my book :) I am so glad Patti Cake is doing so well. Give her a kiss fo me. Bre and her Daddy went Camping this weekend so The dogs and Mom are have much needed down time  But you know what I miss them. Silly me:p I hope you have a great Fathers day Papi. |
A great story teller has nothing to do with education. The stories that touches the heart is what makes them so special. That's what we see in your word, they touch and move our hearts! |
Papi, we appreciate your honesty, though you needant explain! So many of us made not so wise choices in our teenage years! I am one of them. As adults, isn't what all of us want is to provide for our family and have the best benefits possible, no matter what job we are doing? You did well!! And you are still deserving of being put in a catagory as a "writer!" Maybe it was always some talent you had but never had the opportunity to explore it, till now! Because you truely have a way with words and I know I understand everything you say and meant to say! When I was a small girl, my grandparents and my mom worked in a bottling company....you reminded me of that since you worked in a brewery! My dad was also a truck driver, or um...a Transportation Engineer...(Love it!!) for many years. I got to travel with my dad a few times when i was a small girl, just like Kassie Kisses got to travel with her daddy! I'm happy Miss Patticake is so smart and has learned so quickly where to do her business!! I may have to send you a temporary visitor to train since you are so good at it! Boy is this girl hard headed! And please, please, you do not have to feel guilty for not being able to respond to each of us individually!! Thats ridiculas-it would take you too too long and Patticake needs your attention more than we do :D We all understand and do not expect a "personal" reply!! I love each update you give! Thank you so much! Hugs to you and kisses to Patticake!! Love, Trina Quote:

Happy Father's Day Papi I am also one of the girls who want to adopted by Papi since I lost my daddy 8 years ago. He was the best! Now Papi, if you took the time to answer all of us personally you wouldn't have time to write your wonderful Patticake stories and I know I would much rather hear your wonderful words painting pictures of your Patticake play time. We all know and feel your appreciation and wait in anticipation of your next installment!!!! Please keep them coming for us. Patty |
Happy Fathers Day Papi Papi, I would like to wish you a "Happy Fathers Day" also. I haven't been able to say that phrase to anyone in 25 years. My dad went to live with the Angels in 1982. Your family (Patticake included) is blessed to have you in their lives. So are we. |
A very Happy Fathersday Papi ! May Patticake shower you with lots of Kisses !!!!! |
It's here...It's Fathers Day!!! From all of us here at YT...To Papi, with love... Enjoy your day Papi...I hope you don't mind me looking up to you as a father figure, as you are so deserving of the title. Did Patticake leave you a present this morning? If so I hope it was outside!!! Good thoughts to you from Illinois, today, tomorrow and always!!! |

Happy Papi Day! I love the pictures she looks so cut I hope you have a great day and it is not too hot there. It is in the 90's here. Have a great day Papi. We love you!. HUGS to you and Pati Cake. |
Papi, those are I love you gifts. The first one-thank you for bringing me to NJ. The second Happy Father's Day. And there will be more for you-on your birthday and Christmas. It's just a load of "I love you". Happy Father's Day. Those of us who have lost Dads have not really lost them. They are with us, watching over us and in our hearts. I prefer to think of the good times on days like this. |
Happy Father's Day, Papi It's not a phrase I utter or a holiday I observe either. (Fathers don't always have to be dead to be lost.) So Papi, it does my heart good to give these wishes to you!   It's so nice to be among your adopted ones. And please know that your love of Patticake is all the thanks and the best gift I think that you could give to any one of us. Your pictures are absolutely adorable. And like so many others, I think we need to start a new thread for regular updates. Patticake Station was only the first chapter ... |
" Happy Father's Day " Papi " Hi " Papi. :wavey: I don't think I've ever posted in this thread, but I've followed it all along. :) Just wanted to let you know that I am one of the many on here who's father has allready passed away. Mine in 1989. My dad was a long distance truck driver like you, Papi and like you he only completed the 10th grade in school, he had to quit school to help on his family farm in Iowa because his dad left to run around with another woman. My husband is a local truck driver for Miller Beer. I don't think I ever posted because you all were on a "roll" with what you all wanted to accomplish and I really didn't have anything to add. I so applaud all of you who had any part in getting Patticake to Papi. That was so unbelievabely kind and self less of you's. I don't think it really matters in life what "title" you have had or not. What I think matters is if you are a "good" person. And Papi, you are a very good person. :) Take Care... You and Patticake.:hug60: :big_hug: Dawn |
