Grayson's getting Neutered today!! Oh I dropped off my poor baby a little while ago and I am feeling sad that he isn't here. He is getting neutered today as it is past due time to have done this. The vet will also do blood work and remove a few baby teeth that come out. Pray all goes will. Anything i need to have here for him before he comes back home tomorrow? |
Prayers for Grayson !! I know just what you mean - it's such an empty feeling when they aren't with us....I hope the day flies by for you both and he'll be home before you know it |
They said I won't get him back today I have to wait until tomorrow oh Grayson is MY baby and I am sad without him here. Though maybe Abby for one day will a mommy's girl instead of daddy's?:rolleyes: |

I will keep Grayson in my thoughts & prayers today! I would ask if it is possible to bring him home and then you can watch him through the night! Our vet told us that Sailor had to stay overnight when he pulled her retained teeth, but ended up letting us take her home about 7pm. |

when I call back at 3 I will ask if he can be with us, if I have to I would take him back in the am for them to watch him. I do remember when I had the cats spayed they both had overnights too, but that was so long ago I can't remember if someone was at the vets with them or not?? |

Prayers for little Grayson! I sure hope he gets to come home today!! All they do (all 3 of mine did anyway) is sleep the first night anyway. Of course, sleep for me wasn't much, as I had one eye open all night watching over them ;) |
Grayson did fine I checked on him at 3 but they woulnd't let me come and get him, I guess it's best as Abby loves to play rough just like puppy's do and she woulnd't understand to leave Grayson alone. I can't wait to get him tomorrow he will have to be at the vets until I get off of work. |

Thinking of Grayson How is he doing? My Chase just went through this and it was a little nerve racking so I understand the stress. I got Chase an inflatable collar to wear and it's way more comfortable than that elizabethan collar because the onesie didn't work out as well as I thought. My little guy figured out how to get to his stitches so we had to go with a collar. Let us know how the little guy is doing. |
Grayson did very well, I picked him up yesterday and he leaped into my arms all ready to GO! I was so happy to have him back at home! I am having work done on my house(siding put on) and they drove a nail through my cable/internet and phone line so I will post when it gets fixed I am at work sneaking on the computer |

Grayson has been acting odd today so keep him your prayers he has been hunched over all day won't really sit down but will lay turned down his favorite treat (yogurt drops) and whines when you go to pick him up. He is also shivering. His surgery site looks ok to me didn't see swelling or redness. I did call the vet and spoke with him and he suggested since we are done with pain meds to give him baby asprin and we did. I am really worried he woun't eat his normal dinner but I did spoon feed him baby food chicken. Why do they worry us so?? |
Glad to hear that he got through the neutering okay. It's amazing how they bounce right back on their little paws in just a couple of days. |

As of yesterday he started acting strange, I had to call the vet on the emergencey line as they were closed. If you go to touch him he yelps, stays hunched over, and shivers. The vet said to give him a 1/2 of a baby asprin which I ran out and get he was turning down his favorite treat so I knew something was really wrong. The vet said if there is not change to bring him in on MOnday. Which I guess we will have to do. His surgery site looks ok to me? Not red or anything like that. I don't know what's going on but he has me awfully worried |
After no improvment over the weekend I took Grayson in today. Turns out he is badly bruised and his scab is coming off sooner than it should. So we have 4 more days of pain meds and some stuff to put on the scab area 2 times a day. My poor baby!! |
