Well since Lola's hair mats so easily I've been searching for a haircut and found one Maltese pics in Japan. I love that hair cut and I wanted to attempt to learn to do it myself. Poor Lola was patient for almost 2 hours! The face is cut short,I will allow her ear hairs to get longer so it looks like 2 long ponytails. Body shaved down and from the knees down you leave it longer so it looks like boots lol. I'm proud of myself! lol Maybe after a few more months I will perfect this haircut.My Lola is the one with short ears and the Model/Pic is the dog from Japan.I think their names are barbiedogs.The model pic is the red leash Maltese

you really did good Genie...I had to really look at the pictures to see they aren't the same dog - good job !! I know how hard it is doing it your own self...I shaved down Tessa my cocker a few weeks ago INTENDING to give her a cocker cut and was SO lopsided poor girl got a butch
