| The Fifties We are getting ready for a watermelon festivable here Aug.9th.. I am dressing my grandkids and dogs up for it. any and all ideals are appericated. I bought a shirt for one that says Rock and Roll, and a jacket for one that says Barkin the Blues. Then i bought Hope our poodle a poodle skirt and top and our granddaughter a poodle skirt.Off of ebay. i'm looking for a 50"s music cd. and a few other things to decrate the truck or lawnmower and wagon with. would love your ideals.

| That sounds like so much fun. It was before my time but I always loved poodle skirts and saddle shoes. Things that make me think of the fifties - drive-in movies, jukeboxes, records, hula hoops, and soda fountains. lol I'm not sure if that will be any help with decoration ideas but I figure I'd throw them out there. Have a great time!
