| Doggie Breath Mints Does anyone here give breath mints to their furbabies? Mocha's breath is pretty dreadful. I've been trying to get him used to brushing (so far he just licks off the toothpaste and chews on the finger brush), and I've also been using Suzie's Tartar Liquid. Regardless, his breath is still less than pleasant I just bought these breath mints from Petsmart today http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...earch&keepsr=1. Has anyone used these before? Are the ingredients safe? It contains: Dextrates, Dicalcium Phosphate, Sodium Hexametaphosphate, Granular Liver, Sodium Bicarbonate, Natural Mint Flavor, Oil of Rosemary, Parsley Seed Oil, Sodium Copper Chlrophyllin, Magnesium Stearate, Papain. I want to make sure it's safe before I give it to him. Or, if anybody has any other recommendations, I'd love to her them

| I haven't ever found any doggie breath mints that changed Lacy's breath

| I'm just about desperate to try anything right now lol. The salesperson told me I can return them if they don't work or if my dog doesn't like them...so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try (as long as it's safe).

| Thanks for the recommendation, I'll have to get my hands on those! My Petsmart didn't have the herbal ones, but they did carry Dentaclean in the green square mints. Maybe I'll give those ones a try if I can't find the herbal ones. Quote:

| Oh Amy sure could use something for her breath. We just got her a few days ago and her breath didn't stink at first. Now it's horrid! I started with the teeth brushing today - she didn't do too bad. Maybe it's her dog food? The people who had her before fed her whatever they could afford. We just grabbed a small bag of puppy chow til payday when we will get her on something else. |
