What do you guys think about this? Someone recomended this site to order flea and tick meds. They really have the cheapest meds i've seen online so far and have ordered Flontline there. Now im looking for Heartgard and they have a reallly good price but it is a generic! What do you guys think? Will it be just as effective? Has anyone tried? http://www.petshed.com/products/category346.asp

No prescription? I've never heard of a heartwormer with no required prescription from a vet. TyTy and Mr.J

Does anyone know if Frontline Plus protects against ticks? Or does only Advantix do that? I'm sure I could check their individual websites to see, but I figured asking you guys would be faster! Thanks!

advantix is for fleas, ticks and mosquitos it not only kills them if your doggy has it but repels them as well. I just got a 10 month dose for 28.00 (includes shipping) on ebay. he still has some left when i was trying to decide which flea meds to get i decided on advantix because that is the only one that repels them from going on your puppy.

Please do research on Advantix... do a search on here -- but many dogs have died due to an ingredient called Permithin (spelling?) I know someone who's dog almost died because of it...

Wow!!! That is a great price for Heartguard. Do they require a prescription for it? I never messed with ordering heartguard off the net because I thought you had to provide a prescription. I just get it from my vet but his prices are quite a bit higher and I have 4 dogs. Has anyone ordered the heartguard from here and if so how do you get the prescription?

| I got Heartguard for about $14.00 from epetsboutique, and I found someone on eBay who sells Frontline plus for large dogs for about $22 for a six month supply. He sends a medicine dropper that is marked off so that you can measure off the correct amount each month. I think it's a great idea, but you need to be confident that you can manage the measurements. My vet wanted $49 foer a six month supply. No prescription is needed.

I have ordered the heartgard from them before...but i am talking about the generic products specifically. I never knew dog meds come in generic. I get generic for myself all the time but if it the same quality for dogs? Just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them. Just curious. Thanks for all the advice though.. I really like that site...best prices i've seen aroound and no prescriptions necessary.
