What Brand of Food Do You Feed Your Yorkie? Just curious. Mine get Eukanuba. I am not familiar with many different brands, but today when I went to PetsMart, I noticed quite a few kinds that I have never heard of. So, what do you feed yours? |
Gus doesn't get sick when I switch food so I like to give him a variety. So far he has had Solid Gold, Innova and Flint River Ranch. |
Chanel gets royal canin ( mini ) junior and Chelsey gets royal canin hypoallerginic prescribed by the vet, she has a weak stomach and vomits easly, her treats also have to be hypoallergenic :( poor baby, she loves food, fruit, veg and treats, now we have to limit her to the above. |
Bella eats Royal Canin mixed with the Natural Balance Beef log and gravy/parmassean cheese sprinkled on it for Breakfast and dinner. During the day I leave out the Natural Balance Potato and Duck Dry food for her. Eventually when the Royal Canin is done we are just buying the Natural Balance. She loves it and it is great for allergies! |

...I've switched from Science Diet months ago to INNOVA Evo. I have noticed a significant change in comet's coat and behavior. he is much more energetic since we've switched to Innova, and his coat is so much silkier and shinier! We also use WELLNESS wet food, chicken and sweet potato and lamb and sweet potato. He loves that as well. His poops are nice and solid with no offensive odor. |
Royal Canine... That was one of the foods that I saw at PetsMart that I have never seen before. It seems like a good brand. Baxter throws up now and then...maybe this would be a good idea for him. |
my basset and other dogs eat dimond and they love it it keeps there bone heathy and every thing a dog needs :D when i changed there food they didnt like it but they would have to eat it :eek: |
My babies eat Natural Choice by Nutro. |
Rocky eats Bil Jac puppy food and he seems to like it. He also gets BJ canned food mixed in with his dry food for breakfast. |

Yorkie Food I kept both of mine on whatever the breeder had them on, so for Chloe it was Science Diet Lamb and Rice, Lacey it was Eukanaba. When I started to switch to adult food, I used Eukanaba mixed with Natural Brand lamb roll. I ran into trouble because of the size of the food, so my vet suggested Royal Canin, which they love, so I mix with the Eukanaba I have left. Most of the time that works, with a few green beans or carrots. |

Hi! Oscar is on Royal Canin puppy food right now, and I will be switching him to the RC yorkie food in a few months--he does very well on it. :) |

We started on Eukanuba from the breeder. Since Iams/Eukanuba has gotten some very bad publicity on how they treat their lab dogs - My son insists we boycott, Bronx is eating Bil-jac Adult dry. Zowie (new mom) is eating Natural Choice Nutra-puppy, dry all the time and canned twice a day. They both seem to eat whatever I give them, as long as the family is not giving too many treats! I try to buy the small/healthy treats. |
Our vet reccommended Science Diet-small bite and they just love it. |

I feed the Blue buffalo food and I cant find any better ingredients in a bag of food. it is pricey but I have heard alot of good things about it. |

WOW! This is interesting. We are feeding Keeley the whole world right now! :p (This is what the breeder was feeding him before we got him and so we are sticking to it). My babies are Eating Innova Puppy Dry at the moment, but today will be putting them all on Innova EVO. My smallest one is going to be eating either canidae canned or innova of course :) |
Wow! I've learned so much from asking this question...I DID NOT KNOW about the whole Iams thing until about 10 minutes ago! I also didn't know about the Whole Food List-Eukanuba Adult Maintenance is on of the foods on there that they listed as a bad dog food-which is what Baxter eats! So, mostly due to the whole food list (until I also found out about the Iams thing), I am going to try that Innova Evo. Sounds like many people swear by it! NO MORE IAMS SAVORY SAUCE AND EUKANUBA FOR US!!! |
I feed them Science Diet because that was recommended by my vet. When I am done with it I am switching to Royal Canin. |

Bentley eats, Eukanuba, Science diet, or iams puppy... depends on where he is and what he will eat.... sometimes he just turns his nose at his food and goes for one of the others... |
