Patricia, has the little puppy girl, took her to the vet...she is about 12 weeks old, weighs 3.8lbs and seems to be acclimating well, she is eating well and very lovey. Pat still can not get a hold of the seller nor can the airlines, he refuses to acknowledge anyone. Pat has no papers nor any records on her. She is micro chipped, it originally reads from Missouri, the chip company said this little one has changed hands many many times in a very short period of time:( thats all I know for now...Ill let you know if I find anything else out |

The breeder would not come and pick it up, even though he sent me an e-mail last monday stating he sent the wrong dog. I will forward his e-mail to you. JFK asked me if they shipped the puppy back to PDX, if I would take her for now since I am the only one in contact with them. They sent her back to PDX last night. This little Yorkie has been in a crate for 6 days and flown 3 times, 6 hour flights. We are filing claims with the BBB, Humane Society, Attorney General, AKC and getting advice on internet forums to alert other people of this scam. We are also filing a small claims lawsuit. What puppyelite has done to this little Yorkie and to my family, knowing our English Bulldog had just passed away is disgusting. If you need any info from Delta, Chris Shavey (360-773-7490) has been working with us from the start, they knew as soon as the puppy showed up at PDX that it didnt match the puppy booked in the computer. I sent the remaining 1,500 thru Pay-Pal. The puppy belonged to Puppyelite.com. I clicked on the buy now under her name on your web-site. He sent me a Yorkie and I wouldnt take it because it is not the dog I purchased. Please let me know what I can do. Her pic is still on youer web-page as for sale. Her name is Rachael. Thanks, Patricia |
What a shame the pup and purchaser is having to go through this. Have they file a complain through Pay-Pal ?? |
That's terrible. How could they not be concerned enough about the yorkie to go and pick it up. What is wrong with people. |

my thought on this at this time (very late here and I can't sleep now) is that poor puppy must not go back to the sender. if the buyers don't want it they should find it a good loving home and soon. obviously the sender don't have a heart and the buyers don't want a yorkie. someone along the way should have taken care of the puppy. if i were an airport employee I would have had it in my house until someone claimed it. feeding, walks, etc. how is any of this handled when shipping? |
let's say . . . Trying to put myself in their shoes. Say I just had a Yorkie die (which is true, in fact). And I wanted another yorkie, which is true. Say I bought one online (which is true) -- BUT instead of going to pick it up, I had it shipped -- and in the crate was a scared little English Bulldog puppy instead of what I paid a lot of money for. I WOULD NOT have sent it back and tortured that little innocent puppy for something that was not her fault. Even being shipped one-way is dicey, how could they refuse the "shipment". That was not humane on their part. Money can be worked out later. A loving home could be found. Any lost money on my part would be part of life's tuition in learning a LESSON. A dog's life is in the balance. This is soooo sad. |
I wonder if it is illegal if a bunch of us get on to puppyelite website and tell him what we think?????? Boy would he deserve it!!!! Tina |

I bet if there was $2,000 waiting for the breeder at the airport the breeder would have been there within an hour or less! You can really tell all they care about is the $$$. They had the $ so they could care less if the Yorkie was at the airport for so many days! Genie Cookie Lola Angel |
I cannot believe what people will do for the almighty$$!! I hope to hear soon that the pup will be in forever safe hands and never be shipped again! This makes me so darned mad I think I need a drink!!! |
The family has decided to keep her...I think some of you are being a bit rough...this gal just lost her bull dog expected to get another and saw a dog in the crate that wasnt what she was expecting plus paying $2000..The airlines assured her they would return her safely to JFK and notify the sender as she also the moment she saw the mistake called the broker telling him she was being returned. I have shipped pups over the years without any problems NOT ONE....but the anger lies with the broker that simply left the little girl at the airport...no concern, no contact at all with the airlines or the JFK airport!!! 5 days goes by (BTW Delta told the receiver that she has been seen by a vet, JFK took her to make sure everything is good since the broker refused anything to do with her) The broker also told her in the one and only comunication he had with the buyer, sorry I have no bull dogs so you can have pick of the litter on the next litter...never once asked about the yorkie...he also claimed he had the parents of these bull dogs stating he was a breeder not a broker. All is well with the little one but Trish is going after the breeder/broker with a loaded shot gun so to speak!! Well deserved I might add! |
