Yorkie day will be great opportunity to bring your pup to meet other pups. We will vendors selling everything you would ever want for your pup. Did you ever want a professional taken picture of your pup well we will have a professional pet photographier to take pics of your little one? Do you have diva pup that loves to get dressed up and show off well guess what we have a contest just for her/him? We will have food and drinks (even alcoholic ones ) Do you have a rescued yorkie well we will hold a parade just for them also lets make them feel special and share their stories of how they came into your life. There will be an auction for great stuff for pup and you and me? Games to win prizes and alot more. |
More info to add: (copied and pasted from an email from SAY) It is ALL indoors!! We set it up that way for this year so no worry about rain or tornadoes like in past years. But in order to have it indoors I had to agree to having a dinner. THAT is what the $35 is for. Not my idea. But I was held hostage - if I wanted the room I had to have the dinner. So we eat roast sirloin, pasta, chicken, vegetables, au gratin potatoes, rolls, and a salad bar. Not bad... We will have a vet speak about the pet food recall crisis, microchipping, several groomers will be there to do nails and such - profits go to rescue, along with the chef prepared dinner, Yorkie Cake (always a treat!), Yorkie Bingo, an auction, many vendors to shop for all kinds of things. There will be a prize for the most glamorous diva and leading man. We will have a fashion show and a rescue parade (Bernie will SHINE!), so yes, we have lots planned, all in doors and safe. I tell everyone to bring an xpen with them so that if the dogs get tired, they can camp out in a quiet corner while the people do their silly things. The theme is Howllywood - Where EVERY dog's a STAR! |
