tip PetSmart groomer(s)? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I just dropped my precious boy off at PetSmart for the top dog grooming package. Handing him over & then walking out alone is the hardest part, I miss him so much!!!

I do have a real reason for posting though

Does anyone tip their groomers? Especially those in pet stores, like PetSmart. I know the person that hands him over is probably not the person that actually bathed/cut/clipped him... so do I just say "thanks" and hand over the tip? Hoping they'll pass it on or divided it among the people who took care of him?

I always feel so awkward tipping in new situations because some people aren't allowed to accept tips... help please!

I tip my groomer but shes not a Petsmart groomer

I didn't tip them because I was dissatisfied with the service. I would suggest if you were to leave a tip, give it to the one that did the bulk of the work and leave it up to her to share it if she wants. If you give it to the one that may not get to many tips, she might not share and that wouldn't be fair. But everyone is different so it just depends. Good Luck girlie.

I tip my groomers well since they are entrusted with my babies. I have used Petsmart for Nail cutting and tip them too. You can just ask who was the actual groomer and give her the money.
