I think it is growing that way. Also keep the bangs shorter over his eyes and let it part naturally in the middle of his farhead and fall to the sides.I hope that helps alittle. |
1 Attachment(s) Here is a pic of Tucker with his very first bow! He is 5 months old. Missy |

why is it wrong??? i totally agree with you and AKC standards mean nothing at all to me because i do not plan on getting into showing romeo. i have said all along romeo will not have the long flowing hair - he is getting a puppy cut as soon as his hair begins to grow. i will put a band on his hair then if he needs it but no bows! i do not like that look on the boys at all but when i get a little girl this will be here look with all the bows and pink she can stand. just because we don't agree with those that put bows on their boys and let their hair grow long doesn't mean we are wrong and they are right - or vice versa.:) |
2 Attachment(s) I am at work so these are pics off of my website. Here is Louie and Trisket looking handsome in their bows. |
My sons have a fit over my putting bows and barretts in Mugzy's hair, but I don't care. I think he looks so cute and he gets so many compliments... I tell my boys to be thankful I don't put bows in their hair!! Plus, if you get them used to it when they're young, you'll have an easier time as they get older. ALSO, since he's getting neutered anyway, he will be more in touch with his feminine side already.:) |

2 Attachment(s) Oh my, these pictures are terrible :D BUT - they are the only pictures you will ever see of Stedman with a bow in his hair, because he absolutely HATES them!!! :p These were taken when he was a baby, and as you can see...the bow was totally crooked - oh well, it only lasted in his hair for about 10 seconds anyway lol :p |
3 Attachment(s) My husband has the exact same view about bows. Neither of us really like the puppy cut - we want both to have the long pretty hair, boy and girl alike. Bogey came to us with a puppy cut, though, and it's not all grown out yet. And Pixie had to have surgery, so she got shaved :p And of course, Angel was shaved. So much for us wanting long pretty hair! LOL But on Bogey's birthday last month, I took him to get groomed. The groomer put an adorable little cream bow in his hair and gave him a matching bandana. I thought he was absolutely adorable. My husband came home and was like, "OMG He is NOT gay! Get that bow out of his hair right now!" He was originally against ponytails also, but he's now agreed that Bogey can have a ponytail, just no bows. :p Here's some pics of that grooming. |
4 Attachment(s) here are my boys, but don't expect the pretty pics, they don't like bows...but they will wear them for awhile, until the other one rips it out:rolleyes: and the last one is Bear in a girlie bow:) |
