Patty, Good luck with your surgery! And I wish you a quick and pain-free recovery. I understand your fear of surgery, but just think how nice it will be to get rid of knee pain! (...which reminds me...time to go take my celebrex...) |
I am an Infection Control Nurse, and I think it is a great idea. I write orders giving pets permission to visit if they are up to date on vaccinations and if their physician agrees. We have all private rooms. Best of luck with surgery. |
You don't know how glad I am to hear that nurses actually look the other way whem little babies come to visit:) I will make sure all his records are available and I know my daughter will have him in one of his carriers but I KNOW it will keep me from getting all depressed:D I hope this surgery works 'cause it sure does hurt to walk now! |
I know what you mean because when I had surgery, it was soooooo hard for me to be away from Jake! Best of luck with your upcoming surgery! |
Hope you don't get caught sneeking him in. Is it a small hospital? they would understand more. |
I had my right total knee replacement, Jan. 18, and my left knee done 3 years ago. I am now walking pain free! I commend you for being so brave to have both done at the same time, and I wish you a speedy recovery. I agree! Yorkie kisses help with the recovery! Good luck, |
Hi Patty, I hope your surgery will go well. I'm sure just seeing your little one will help you recover quickly.. Good luck and God bless. Another Patty, Chloe & Maddi. |
Not obsessed. There's alot of comfort in those little faces and peace when they snuggle up next to you. Just looking into their eyes can bring such joy. That's why therapy dogs have become so popular. Good luck with your surgery and we'll pray for a speedy recovery. |
We are hoping for a wonderfully successful surgery and speedy recovery!!! Your fur-baby will do you wonders in recovery...:p |
Good luck Patty....having had bad knees all my life, I completely sympathise ! Sneak the dog to the window of your ward if it on ground floor, or get a doggy bag, lol....if he's quiet, who would know ???;) p.s to make you feel a wee bit better, my pal had that done, and it was fine....a lot better once she got the movement back, and just remember not to be scared to ask for pain relief to be written up on your notes - ask your Consultant when you see him before the op ! If it's written up, they can't refuse ! :) :animal-pa Debra x x x x person with many past major surgeries, lol....I think it is 6 and more to come:rolleyes: |
I'm wishing you a successful surgery and very speedy and complete recovery! I'll say a prayer! It'll be not much fun to go through, but the outcome will make it well worth it! Hugs to you! I'm glad you'll get visits from your baby while in the hospital. That's the best medicine you could ask for! |
