She's so sad - Last night, she found Pix's kennel. I decided that was the best place for her to sleep so I went ahead and shut the cage door so Bogey wouldn't be humping on her all night or something.
But she thinks she belongs in a cage. She's apparently potty trained and won't potty in the cage though. She woke up whining this morning, I took her out, she pottied... Then I was going to let the 3 of them run and play. I saw her for about 30 seconds... then she was gone. I found her sitting in the cage.

She does periodically try to play, though since I brought her home late last night and it's first thing in the morning, I haven't done much playing with her. I'll make some time today.

Well, I think you did the right think by taking her, at least temporarily. You saved her life!
Now, I'm sure you can find somebody that will take her. You can try here, maybe somebody that lives close to you will be interested. Post pictures soon so they can see her.

I sure you save her life, Thank God you went to see her. I'd take her to the vet. Any pics of her. If you haven't groomed yet do before and after shots. so we can see who you got.

LOL The WAY before shots would have been hideous. She stunk so bad, it was all I could do to get home. And then I threw her in the tub, all this brown dirt came off her, and she changed colors :p
Still, she is filthy. I'm going to take her to the groomer today if she has time and if no one has claimed this baby before. Her ears and nails and such need to be done badly.

Its so sad that people can do that to a tiny baby! You are such a sweetheart to take her in and find her a worthy home! She is only 4 years old! She has such a long life ahead of her! it would be so great to get her into a home where she is loved and spoiled to the hilt! If I were closer Id be thinking really hard about taking her in! I already have my hands full with 2 boys though!

Her tail probably wasn't cropped. My Rhapsody has a tail, but her breeder was from overseas, and had the view that it was barbaric to have the tail cropped, lol.

I know I wouldn't have been able to leave her either. Even if you she's not what your daughter wants, maybe you could consider her a rescue and help her find a new, happy home.

Poor baby! How can sick people do such horrible things. I'm glad you found her. . . sounds as though if anyone can reverse her abusive experience, you can. I'd love to see some pictures of her.

i just want to cry right now for that little baby... my heart is breaking for her.
she just needs to be loved now and not thrown around..

i agree...it was wonderful of you to bring her home, even if you can't keep her. sounds like you are more concerned for her well being and will find her a great forever home.

what did hubby say when he got home??

Bless you. She gave birth 7 weeks ago? what did they do with the puppies? Did they have her neuter-no I guess not-sounds like she was just used. The poor baby. I hope someone finds it in their heart to take her in.

OMG that is SO sad! I think you did a WONDERFUL thing by buying her and bringing her home. People that use dogs like that jsut disgust me. I know someone on here will want to give her wonderful home where she will be sooooo spoiled! Have you tried posting a listing for her in the rehoming section with some pictures? I feel so sorry for her and am so glad that you rescued her. It sounds like she has had a hard life :( Poor baby! :(
Give her lots and lots of hugs and kisses from me and the munchkins! If there is ANYTHING I can do to help you please let me know girl!

i sent you a pm. i have an aunt in texas that is looking for a small dog and if you are anywhere near her, I can ask her about this. I really hope you do find a good home for her. I know my aunt would give her an amazing home but I would need to talk to her first. and find out where you are in texas :)
