I totally agree. I still haven't heard anything yet, but I have already become quite upset, as I know there are so many others that are persoanlly involved in this. This has just ruined any 'wonderful' thoughts I had about myself doing good deeds. Gosh, why on earth, why, why, why. I just don't get it. She knows how involved everyone is in helping Tahoe b/c they couldn't afford all the money for his MRI. She told me last night that she contributed to his bill (which I have the print out to confirm) and that's all they could come up with.

I am at such a loss for words, I am sooooooo saden, I just can't even collect my thoughts anymore

Nicole... don't feel bad... you know why? Tahoe still got treatment. LORD knows if she would have done anything for him if you didn't step up and help out! So don't feel bad. What goes around...... comes around......
Continue with your good deeds.... because you are a good person and Tahoe has you to thank.

Thank you very much. I truly only jumped on the "Tahoe" bandwagon, b/c I just felt he needed help and since I was so close (Long Island) that I could truly make a difference. I will always have a place in my heart for Tahoe.

again since we do not know exactly what is going on but it is fishy ... it is her shame not yours for doing something bad.

don't let it get you down. IF there is a Tahoe and the donations really did go to his care ...that's what counts...but at the same time - this is the kind of thing that makes people question what's really going on. I know I sure am and am done with it. None of us wants to hear a dog can't get help due to lack of money - but I'm sure people didn't expect these same donations to be going toward a new dog either especially when the injured dog is still alive and needing vet care.

Nicole - you are an amazing person from the beginning of it all ... the info, advice, and help you offered was more than any money amount could do. knowledge is more powerful than money i think ..

many things DID not add up ...

1. the house - she said she didn't own a garage/house but then later says she has a huge mortage b/c she just bought a house.

2. said that tahoe is paralzyed but then later says he's moving 3 out of 4 legs, will walk with 3 legs soon, and lifts his head. that doesn't really sound paralyzed to me .. at least to the extent that she made it sound

and last but not least

pple of YT - you all are amazing pple, who have big hearts. its wonderful to be a part of such a group of pple.

I'm just now seeing this...all I can say is ..Oh no ....... no one involved in this should feel bad, your heart was in the right place...& you can never fault some one for that, you just showed your compassion, caring, & trust in your fellow Y.T er.....if there really is a Tohoe then at least you accomplished what you set out to do...helped a very ill yorkie.....I still would like to reserve any negative comments until Kasia has spoken...don't want to assume any thing...but I must admit there are big red flags waving on this one.....

It is no reflection on you in anyway. Your instint was to come to the aid
of someone who needed help and you did. My hat is off to you for your
compassion. Tahoe would would give you puppy kisses if he could.
We can't control people and how they think unfortunately.
You certainly are owed and the others who so willingly gave from their
hearts an explaination why there was a post for another Yorkie when
med bills can't be met for their sick pup!
I see she can't pay much for another however whatever the amount
is they can afford should most diffinately go to Tahoe's care.
I hope she can give you an explaination so you can put yourself
at peace with this whole thing.

You honestly owe a lot of people and explaination as why all of a sudden it seems that you are looking to purchase a new puppy. There are so many people that stepped up to help Tahoe get his MRI. You should probably start to repay those people if you now have money to spend on a new yorkie.

I am very upset by all that has come about since we last spoke.

It just doesn't make sense...this site is not that big where you could get lost in the crowd....why would some one post a thread about a sick yorkie in one thread & post another thread asking about a new one ...I just find it hard to believe she didn't think any one could see it...that's why I want to reserve any judgments...until she has a chance to explain.....

TLC - Please don't feel bad about helping!! You are very special to do this. It is not your fault. Poor Tahoe is getting treated and that is what was so important. Who knows whether he would have been treated or not if you hadn't tried to help. I am concerned what might happen to him if this does turn out to be a 'not-so-honest a situation'.

Archie, Thank you for the very wise words.

I know that in my heart, I was able to help Tahoe, that's really all I set out to do. I know that no money that was collected went to the family, only to the Hospital. So, I do feel good about that.

But like you said and others too, that if all of a sudden there is some money, and it might be the smallest amount of money available now, it should go to caring for Tahoe first. He is 1.5 years old and had a stroke, with proper care and theraphy he could walk again. I know he has made some minor improvements.

I feel like I am in the 'twilight zone'. Gosh, I never thought in a million years that I would log onto YT and have this transpire.

All I want is Tahoe is to well taken care, if the family has lots of excess money now, they should repay those who stepped up to make the MRI happen ASAP before worring about getting another yorkie.

Yes, I totally agree! That's why I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone!

If you guys only knew what has been going on behind the scenes. I've talked with Kasia on the phone and so has other people (like everyday). No one ever got any bad impression of this family, otherwise it would have never gone this far. That's why I am at such a loss for words.
I just can't understand this all, it makes no sense
