wow! what a gorgeous coat. The shinyness is what you can really see in it. I don't think my dog has that type of coat. For more or less it is much wavier. I mean I can take a straight iron to it, or blow it out for like an hour and POSSIBBLY, and that's stretching it, but for ht emost part. It is what it is. I'm just starting to train him now, and it's unbelievable. After the first 10 repetitions and he gets it. These lil furballs are so smart!

Well? How did that go? btw, i used conditioner and kept it on him for like 15 mins...holy moly man. his coat was so soft when I finished, BUUUUT of course it did not fall heavy and straight like silk hair would.

I use this wonderful product called Silk Spirits. It is a lifesaver!!! After you wash and condition, then towel dry, then you massage this into the coat and blow dry, it makes the hair feel like silk! It's not oily either.

aww Jewels has a wicked cute story behind her from her dogster page. We actually have a chihuahua who is about 10 months old, runt of the litter and has a failing liver. My wife is way sad about it. Armani gives her love all the time htogh, even though sometimes chi's just don't want anything from anyone. lol

Little Armani is just adorable. Daisy has a really thick cottony coat and we keep it in a puppy cut. We don't have problems with tangles but I would love to have a shiny look. Her coat is so thick there has never been even a hint of a part down the middle. I love her coat the way is, she is a little fur ball.

Chachi, I think I will try the Pantene rinse. Thanks for the tip.

lol His coat isn't thick...it's just thin and cottony around the back and sides of body. I love the way your pup looks though..that thick and wavy look is awesome!

Thank you so much. We love her so much just the way she is. She did not turn out looking like either her mommy or daddy. They were both around 7-8 lbs and silky coat. We really didn't expect to get a 13 lb cottony coated girl, but we wouldn't change a thing about her. She is just perfect to us. lol
