I was wandering... do you let your yorkies swim when it's warm weather?? :thinking:

When it was warm, a few days ago, my hubby took Maggie to the swimming pool ...And that's what I saw:eek: :eek:

Thats cute! And yes, I take Vixxen usually on the mat in my pool and get her feet wet and tummy. But I do take her swimming in the lake when we take her out on the boat!! She wears her life jacket too :D

Well Maggie did jump in the water afterwards, but the camera went off batteries...:(

Didn't she get scared in the boat?

How cute! Yes, I allow our boys in the pool with us
during the summer months. I think as long as they
enjoy it and don't have access to it unless they are
with you it's fine. She sure looks like she's enjoying
it!

LOL... Maggie looked like a wig in the pool, her hair was so wierd floating in the water... LOL:D :D

I bring Rocky in the pool, but he hates it and stands on my shoulder or sits on a raft. But he LOVES to swim in the nasty lake in our neighborhood :rolleyes:

Oh you're right... she's NEVER allowed near the pool unsupervised...:thumbup:

I\'ve never put my girls in water, so I don\'t know how they would do. They have never even been in the bath tube. I bathe them in the deep sink in the garage. I guess I should start putting a little water in the tub and some floating toys and let them get used to it.

Mine love our boat and my pool. I think it is learned - not to mention it gets hot here in Florida so mine have to cool off every now and than! :D

That\'s adorable. The two of them look like they\'re having a wonderful time. It\'s funny how some yorkies love the water and some really hate it.

I don\'t know if mine know how to swim cuz this is going to be their first summer but so far they hate taking baths. Soooo I dunno, but I will see this summer! :D
