Debra, Here are more prayers going up for you. You have a lovely family and your furbabies are gorgeous. I looked up EDS after reading your post and it sounds sooo painful. I'm so sorry that you're having to go thru this, but I'm grateful that you have your little yorkies to bring joy to your life. Your love for them and your family shines thru in all your posts and I truly wish you well. Kim |
I hope you are feeling better tonight. I will keep you in my prayers. You have a beautiful family. |

Thanks for the wishes, and I felt the same the last times I was in hospital....wanting to smuggle the dogs in - in fact I signed myself out instead of staying in, rather than stay away from them, lol I really don't see why we can't take them in with us, lol, afterall they are better nurses than they have in there ! The visitors take in as much germs as our dogs would ! :D (I am so lucky to have my one beautiful daughter, I know - I was lucky to have her, though I couldn't have any more - I got all the good things in one package !!! A very precious moment in my life.....life isn't all bad !) Best wishes for your op - hopefully NO MORE PAIN and you get better soon ! Thinking of you  :love-hug3 Update - pain not so intense - hoping I've got away with it this time ! |
THANKS EVERYONE - thanks for looking up EDS too ! There are many others in the world far worse off than myself I am sure, though so nice to know people care ! :) When I think I have had nearly 40 good years, fair enough in pain and operations, but others don't even get that, do they. :animal-pa Debra x x x x |
I second the motion for Tara as Yorkie of the day, week, month and year. Any pup that can ease your pain deserves a medal. Sending our best wishes. |
I just googled EDS and ohhhhh Debra I so feel for you hun...I hope you feel better....sweet Tara deserves a special treat!! Reece and Darla send her doggy kisses!! Dawn |
Way to go, Tara!!! She is such a sweetie! |
I am so sorry that you had a bad day today......Tara definitely deserves to be Yokie of the day. Sending you healing thoughts your way and a prayer. Jess |
Well kind people - still sore today, so won't be on for long tonight..... have sussed it's a prolapse of the woman's nether regions, and haven't had the nerve to go to the doc's yet, as it'll be the operating table for me again, eeeeek ! :( They did an op two years ago, but I had a major bleed despite me warning them that that always happened with me in ops - but I think they thought they were saints and it wouldn't happen with them, and when it did they hurried me off the operating table and didn't finish the job ! So now I have to brave the doc, and get it all arranged again, though the older I get the greater the risk - I have a heart murmer too, so loads of tests first again no doubt - what hassle - really can't be bothered !!! Wish I was over in America - as you are far cleaner with MRSA and far superior ! I will no doubt have to wait a year or two on a waiting list, unless I can persuade them I am an emergency - just as well I have NURSE TARA YORK :littleang here to look after me in the meantime, lol;) :animal-pa Debra x x x x |
So sorry to hear this. I hope you're feeling better soon. Tara, you're such a good little girl for taking care if your mommy. |
Beautiful family and ur babies are gorgeous. Sending you yorkie prayers and a get well soon |
Here, here! Yorkie of the day, the YEAR, she is! Little doll is an angel to her mother. I hope your health just gets better and better w/ each moment. |
Thanks so much again all of you ! Won't be on tonight - too sore - went to the docs today, and it's all prolapsed right enough, and maybe more damage than that, as I shouldn't be in so much pain. Looks like the speed of the collapse has torn a number of other things. She has referred me to Gynae - I just hope I don't have to wait long ! Will be back on when I am not so sore.... Babies giving me loads of kissies !:) Lots of love, :animal-pa Debra x x x x |
Been to A&E last night...got back at 2am, and had to go back to hospital to see consultant at 10am. Went to see him and he gave me a temporary measure which has increased the pain tonight, but it's all held up, lol ! I don't see him now for 6 months when he will review surgery options.... If I continue to be sore, I will be back at A&E, don't worry ! Thing is, nothing is sorted, and everything all swollen up through tearing - so resting and taking anti-inflammitories;) Just lying here with my wee ones licking me, but Tammy the moo - heavy with puppies, keeps jumping on my stomach - and it hurts !!! |
Ach debra thats awful what you are going through. Years ago I was diagnosed with a prolapse, but it has never got in my way of life. You are such a strong person, lying there with your babies to comfort you. I can see that no matter what pain your in, you are definitly addicted to YT. lol I think that you should get member of the week. What do you say guys. |
