| ![]() I have my own doggie, and for the next two weeks will be doggysitting another one, Shorty. Shorty is about 11 years old and really hardly eats. I will buy nutrical in hopes of getting something in him. Any suggestions on what else i can do? Please help. I do not want anything to happen to the poor baby, especially on my watch. ![]() |

| ![]() Try anything. Something is better than nothing. Cooked carrots, apples, greenbeans, check out food on here that might be appealing to him. Eleven years old, maybe it is getting hard to chew for him. Try softer foods.

| ![]() It sounds like PipersMommy has some good ideas, and I'm sure you'll get advice from owners with aging yorkies. Its so sweet of you to be so concerned for the doggy your sitting for.

| ![]() I've always had good luck with cooked brown rice mixed with cooked hamburger or chicken. I've never had a dog not chow it down. Kathy |
