I wish you a speedy recovery from your pain...I'm glad to see so many YTers reaching out to help you. If I were closer I would have loved to take your precious Zoey temporarily, but since im so far im glad to see your getting help!!

i'm so sorry to hear about the condition your in right now, and i know you must be so upset up having to leave zoey for a couple months. There are great members here and Glad would be a great home away from home for zoey for a little bit.

Whoa... Slow down, guys!:p I don't know anything about either the pup or the pup's Momma. I haven't heard back from her from my post, so there's no telling what's going to happen quite yet.

Optimally I would like to meet both and make a decision then. So time will tell how this is going to work out. I haven't said a word to my hubby yet, either...:cool: One step at a time!:animal-pa

I have to go rock and roll tonight, so if she gets back to me in the next hour, we will know more. And tomorrow I have my pre-meetup planning session, so I have a busy weekend planned. I am hoping to hear back from her soon.

Incidentally, I appreciate all the wonderful kudos and the verifications of my character! Very sweet of all!:D

I'm so sorry you have so much to deal with right now. Even tho Little Zoey would bring you so much healing love, you need to concentrate on getting yourself better first. I know you're scared, but the power of YT prayers can work miracles. Be brave, and know that whoever you put Zoey in the care of, will treat her like royalty. She will be safe and well taken care of until you are ready to bring her home. God Bless and watch over you and Zoey during this tough time.

:( Hang in there! I'm terribly sorry to say, like many others, I would babysit without hesitation but I'm in Maryland. I hope you work it all out soon...

Looks as if something is in the works right now, but if that falls through and you absolutely can't find anyone (seems unlikely because YT is really pulling for you!) maybe we can work something out. I'm willing to be your last resort (if my work schedule & boyfriend allow =), since I'm so far away. Wouldn't want the pup to have to endure the long drives unless absolutely necessary.

I'm here everyone! My computer is completely messed up. I had to struggle to make it to the website and be able to post this message. Everytime I click on IE , it opens up a million pages until my computer gets overwhelmed and the screen goes black! I have a virus. That's just one more thing that I have to worry about. My dad is going to try and fix it for me since he's good with computers.

I have to make this quick because I don't have much time before I have to head to work. Not to mention this computer might start messing up at any moment. I'm sorry for the delay in responding to PM's and messages in this thread. I can't go through and read them right now but I did scroll down really quick and it looks as though I have someone that can help me out! Everyone , email me at my work email address. It's Whitney.Johnson@bellsouth.com - I'll be there from 3PM-12AM Eastern Time. I'd love to receive some emails! Thanks guys! I appreciate everything and once I get this computer right , i'll be able to respond to ALL of your PM's.

Whitney, don't know how we got our wires crossed, but I am sorry that I missed you today. I was at your place at 4:30 sharp, and heard Zoey on the other side of the door, she does sound cute!:p But you didn't seem to be home.

I left you a note with my phone number, and if you decide you wish to continue to pursue a temporary foster home for your sweet girl, please give me a call.

Otherwise, I wish you all the best, and hope you can put your medical issues behind you in short order.

No I haven't heard a word from her. I think it's possible that she hadn't quite thought this all through due to the stress of everything that's been going on (Iris mentioned this may be so) and when it came right down to it, Whitney may not be ready to foster her girl out yet.

Life is so hard sometimes, and in stressful times we all really need to rely on the love of our best friends. In my life, that includes my fur girls.:aimeeyork :aimeeyork I can't imagine going through any life changing event without them. I imagine Whitney can't either. And that's OK. I just wish I had heard from her. Luckily getting to her house is on my way home, so really it was no bother.

I just hope she is OK...:confused:

It was so nice of you to offer your help and to make contact with her. I hope she contacts you if she decides she needs help.

I know that some days it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, and the next day things seem to be not so bad.
