| Is My Yorkie PG??? just curious to know how soon you would see after their heat signs of pregnancy. If they are pregnant how soon can you tell on an x-ray?

| My female threw up a couple of times a couple weeks after breeding (both times). I have mine x-rayed on day 57. Just my preference.

| well she started her heat around march 18th. Approx. 8 days after, her and my boy was accidently left unattended w/o protection. Now at the base of her nipples are swelled up, and i'm hoping it's a false pregnancy.

| LOL. I may just be very naive but I had no idea there was "protection" for dogs!

| I don't know if you plan on breeding in the future, but if you do not want the pregnancy you can take her to the vet to get her spayed and that will take care of the pg if there is one. Just a thought..

| There is no good way to tell without an ultrasound. So if you really need to know now, get the ultrasound, if not, then wait it out. BTW Panites and belly bands will slow them down, but not stop them. It's like saying well my daughter was fully dressed when she left the house, so how did she get prengant. . No need for sarcasam when someone only is asking for knowledge and further more her appointed time for being spayed was delayed by her vet due to trachea problems.

| Thank you for your thoughts and delicate way of putting them and yes, it is definitely our intent to have her spayed as soon as possiable... She was suppose to prior to this have the surgery done but she was having probs with her trachea and it caused the delay. Our vet says that we can now move on and have the surgery. But again thank you for your kindness
