Emmy barks at everybody; that is, until they come inside the house--then she acts like they are here just to see her. She rolls over to be rubbed and wants to crawl all over them!:) |
looking after you ! .....my girlies are good, but casper, my boy is very protective and we are always telling him not to bark at people who come near us that he doesn't know ! .....he is an entire male and i think his hormones make him think he has to protect his two girlies and us !:) :animal-pa Debra |
I think your dog might be trying to protect you. Or maybe he's jealous? I used to have a dog who barked whenever I stopped to talk to someone - it was more barking at me though, I think lol..... Pepper barks on people walking through the gate (the cling sets him off :rolleyes: ), once he was growling and barking at two kids sitting in front of the house - through the window. Once out the house, he wants to greet everyone... |
I take my boys just about everywhere and so far cross my fingers "no barking". The only time they bark is when the mailman comes or they hear the doorbell on TV or for real,lol. Although I paused live TV with the Tivo and Bowie was going nuts thinking the person I paused it on was real and in his house uninvited,lol that was hilarious to see!!! |

Mocha only barks at people when they come into the house. He even barks and growls at my son when he comes down the stairs in the morning (or any other time of the day!) He is too nervous outside to worry about barking at people. |
