the only ones on that list that I could recommend would be Sylvan and Nolens. i know helen at Nolens and she is an excellant breeder and has puppies available. Don't know if she has females tho. I also don't know if Slyvan has any but she is a good breeder. and of course the most obvious place to find a good breeder is here. have you considered any of our own breeders? i'm not plugging my puppies at all. I don't have what you are looking for but someone else on here might. i think the lady named Fannie on the "featured yorkie breeders' forum might have a female. not sure.

To me it looks like they photoshopped the same dog to make it look like different ones. Isn't that a heads up that they are a broker or mill? I found this site when I was looking awhile ago, and got an icky feeling from it, so I ran far and fast!

There was a post about this particular kennel on the Maltese board that I am a member of. Yes, something is off about those dogs...I, personally, think they look like stuffed animals. Take a look at the Maltese.

Those dogs at raffinen do not look right at all. I'd stay away from them. It appears they're trying to breed a "baby doll" face to the extreme - only it doesn't look like a babydoll, it just looks "off".

Looked at the Nolens and Sylvans - the Nolen puppies look like they have very long snouts and might not be to standard, if that's important to you. The Sylvans dams/sires and pups look ADORABLE and very to standard!!!

I'd say take a look at my site but 1 little male is the only one I have left.
I will not have anymore pups until late fall.

Ann, nolen's dogs are all within standard and most are from the Judabob, Rothby lines and etc. i will have to look again because I diddn't notice anything that seemed odd about her dogs. In fact, most of them look like my little guys. This is not to take away from Slyvan because I value her very highyl and think she is a great breeder. That's why I recommended her in the first place. but you are very wrong about nolens. BTW, she is a member heree also

perfect show appearance really doesnt matter to me. although i do want the yorkie baby face lol i dont see anything funny about nolens, but im no expert.

Scroll towards the bottom of your screeen. The is a featured breeders forum that has just started in the past day or two. many more will join I'm sure since we have some great breeders on here. the featured breeders , as admin says, are held to a very high standard. There are also some good breeders in the regular yorkie for sale forum but be careful that you are dealing with someone that has been on here for awhile because the only rule on that board is that the puppy has to be ten weeks old so someone that has never posted before and only became a member to sell dogs can post if they have a ten week old puppy. often, they join, post their for sale ad and then leave. look under the members name and see how many posts have been made. there are also a handful of people on here that have joined in the past month or so and comment on every single thread with a 'kootie" phrase or something similar just to run their post count up. be careful. no matter who you choose, ask for references.

Sylvan yorkies!! She's very highly recommended...

Keep this in mind, even though you're not looking for a show dog or whatever, just a pet, you want to make sure that the breeder is breeding for HEALTH, temperament, and to standard.

I've never heard of Nolen's but if Sugar's mom is recommending her, then she's probably good :) Sugar's mom is also a breeder who has beautiful pups!

Thanks Ann....and everybody else. I've been lucky to have a retired showbreeder who has been involved with yorkies for more than 30 years entrust me with her lines and guide me with the selection of my dogs. We've attended shows together and she helped me develop a good eye for the standard, not to mention sharing the priceless knowledge regarding the health history of the lines.
Naomi, I don't ship, but do travel to Boca Raton to visit family. I recently delivered a pup to Palm Beach....holler if I can help you, though I do have a waiting list.

How long is the waiting list? I know i said i could wait.. but i am kinda anxious! lol and i wouldnt want to wait FOREVER, i start college in 2 years and the dog must be 2 years or older to be allowed in my dorm (college rules).

Wow, the dog has to be 2 yrs old...I guess that's because they expect the dog will be potty trained by that time. Interesting! Did you get my pm?

ya, by the time i start college the dog must be 2 years old, so i have to get a pup now if ever lol. Yes, i got ur PM and i emailed the breeder :) Shes pretty close to me sooo im crossing my fingers

Oh my gosh...I visited that site a long time ago and got such a laugh from some of the pics. They apparently tried to touch them up...or something...but it just made them look so odd.:rolleyes:

I think they eether are stuffed toys, or 1 real dog dog that they photoshoped to look like that, or maybe those really are their dogs and they photoshoped all of them to look "doll like"
