3 Attachment(s) My boys are 15 mths old and are still dark, especially Diesel. Here are a couple of pictures of him after his first haircut last month. He is a little chunk now at 6 lbs. The 3rd picture is of both boys after their haircut. Dylan is a little lighter and weighs 6.4 lbs but is much thinner. |

My little Summer stayed dark and she was 14 months old. My new puppy well she isn't a puppy she is almost 15 months old is really light silver. She is only 7 days younger than Summer was and they are the exact same size. Summer was 3.5 pounds and Lola I hope is getting close to that she was 3 pounds when we picked her up last week. I think just like someone else said it depends on their genes. Summer's parents were black and tan and silver and tan. Lola's mom is really light and I think her dad was darker. |
You can see a picture of Summer in my avator. She is the really small one and the other one is Abigail. Lola is about the same color as Abigail just a little bit lighter. |
Bailey's back is still completely black..he will be 3 in June..and not a tiny..he is 11 pounds. |
My Bijou is 9 mos. old and still dark black. I LOVE IT!!! She has just a tad of grey on her head but that's it. Every day I cross my fingers that she doesn't change. She weighs 2 lbs. 13 oz. |
I'm happy to hear someone else has an 11 pounder also. |

My moms stayed black and tan and he was one of the prettiest yorkies I've ever seen. I'd consider yourself lucky! I mean I like them best black and tan but I guess everyones different. I think they stay looking like babies when they keep their color. I bet he's beautiful! Post pics!!!:) |

Bubba is 2 now and still dark but beginning to show some of the steel but his roots are black (he looks like he needs a touch up) Sissy is 1 1/2 but still very dark. They are both gold on their heads and legs. |
