| "I will NOT pee in the rain" what to do now... It's storming my way...but we gotta pee I just know it! Here is the deal... Ok...so my baby will not step foot on wet grass if there is also water coming from above..he is ok with the dampness if it's just his feet but add the incoming downpour we are experiencing and I guarantee you I will be begging...that little monkey will just run to the sidewalk and stand there looking at me like, thanks mom, just throw me out here to get soaked...so, any solutions short from looking nutty following him around ( I live in an apt) holding an umbrella over a 3 lb little turkey!!!! | I am hoping he will..he has a raincoat but it is so big on him still and I am afraid he couldnt see over the hood...and if he wasn't a fiestly little thing outside the umbrella thing may work...I can give it a try to avoid "clean ups" inside... |

| Mine wont go in the rain either. We let them out on the front porch or our back door leads to Our Gazebo and they will go in there

| Try training him to use a litter box with a wee-wee pad inside...my boyz will use it if they need to but they will also go outside. We have a 2 ft. overhang on our house so when it's raining they either stand under that to go or they go under the bench by the front door. |

| We use wee-wee pads on rainy days. I think all the little guys should be wee-wee pad trained as well as outside trained, for several reasons, and one is a rainy day. |

| Maybe you can put a plastic bag on the ground and hold an umbrella over him. This way his little feet won't get wet. I also use the pee pee pads when it rains Judy |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i make morgan go out in the rain and i'll just stand there and wait till she goes no matter how long. once she potties we go back inside and then the next time she is much quicker

| That is why Haruka is trained to go inside and outside of the house. Peepad training is the best thing I did for my little girl! ... I cannot take her in snow storm or rainy day...

| I know what you mean about holding the umbrella over then.... but in the mean time I am getting wetter than they are . Mine learned during the last hurricane to go under the bushes beside the garage door. i stand in the garage and they are on a long leash under the bushes. those were the days when I was wishing they were not potty trained at all. (just joking)
