| Hi, Welcome to YorkieTalk! It is so nice to have you here! I'm sorry I cant offer you much help with your problem but I'm sure someone here will have some ideas that can help you. Wow, I envy you for having an easy to potty train little guy! We had quite a time with it. LOL

| Sounds like your puppy is extremely submissive. Have you ever watched Cesar Milan's show, The Dog Whisperer, on the National Geographic Channel? He addressed this issue once. He is very pro walking your dog. Says it is the thing they need most everyday besides food and water. His remedy for one dog that was very anxious and practically jumped out of its skin when walking down the street and encountering strollers and other people with anything that rolled, was to put a leash on him that not only holds the head up high but also the tail. He said that raising their tail signals their brain to have confidence and that if you walk your dog this way, it will become more self-confident over time. I've seen those leashes sold on some pet websites. You can google it. I've learned a lot from his show about how to handle specific problems. The episodes are available on Netflix if you haven't seen it. Our puppy is very submissive as well and in the evenings she gets very alert and almost paranoid about every little sound outside. She will bark at stuff we don't even hear. We have to calm her down. We keep the t.v. on most of the time and she doesn't hear as much that way so she doesn't freak out. When we were in puppy class with her, the trainer taught us to massage the back of her neck and down her spine gently. Also the ears and her paws. This puts her in a relaxed state when she is all hyper and she then she seems to just zone out after that. You might try it when your puppy goes into commando mode.
