Which yorkie should I choose?

The breeder that I got Hannah from has just had a new litter of puppies. What do you think of this little girl and boy. I am leaning more toward the girl.

They are both so sweet!Have you had a chance to meet them both yet? That might help you make your decision.

I really love them both. Do you think that girls get along better with another girl or a boy? I am afraid of males marking on my furniture. The breeder also has a male left out of Hannahs litter and he is adorable too. Here is a pic of him, he is only $700.00, the little girl is $950 and the little boy is $850. Here is Calleb, he is Hannah brother from her same litter so he is 6 months old.

Based solely on looks... I'd pick the boy.

I think you should meet them, though, and check out their personalities. When we went to pick up our first Yorkie, we were so sure we were going to get the remaining boy. After meeting Penny, though, it was love at first kiss.

OMG he is adorable....I would go for him, males do mark but if you get them neutered before they start and to they have belly bands that are a great....:)

Yes I am going to visit them soon. I love the boys coloring on his face. I never even thought of getting a boy, I always knew I would be getting another girl, but after seeing him, I don't know.

Both are cute, but I prefer the boy also. The marking can be a problem, but get him neutered early. I also find my boy is just so loveable and comes when I call him.

When you meet the pups in person, YOUR baby will pick YOU out :) I has happened to me more times than I can tell.

Thats what happened to me with Bear, I just fell head over heels in love with him....I keep telling myself no...get the girl, but follow your heart you will be happier if you do...:D

Hey girl! ;) OMG, I didn't know that you were getting another baby! :eek: CONGRATS!!! :cheer: I remember I contacted Hannah's breeder and she told me that she would have more pups available around this time - and I was going to wait, but then of course I found my little Tate Tate :p

Out of the two you posted though...based on looks alone, I like the little boy :D You never really know until you get there and meet them in person though and see how their personalities differ ;)

And as for having a boy and a girl, well...you know I have my little Steddy, and then of course Tatum - and they get along just FINE :D They totally love each other and have become best friends :D :thumbup: Tatum does like to nip Steddy on the butt, but other than that, they get along wonderful LOL.

And by the way....Caleb is PRECIOUS!!! I remember seeing him on her site ;)

Oh, he's sooo cute and I like his coloring! I agree though, I would go visit and see how they all act with you and Hannah.
When we got our Wrigley, we actually went there for a different little girl and we just fell in love with her instead!

I think Hannah's brother is adorable!!!!!!!!! The other 2 are as well! You have a tought choice ahead of you. Perhaps she can tell you a bit more about their disposition to help you choose!

I like the little girl's face better. But I am no Yorkie expert. She just looks adorable. As far as boys vs. girls. I have both males and females and you honestly can't tell the difference.

Thanks guys it will be a tough decision. I still haven't talked my hubby into getting another one yet, he thinks Hannah will be sad if we give another one attention.

If it were me I would'nt hesitate at all! I would choose Hannah's brother without a doubt! Having siblings would be wonderful. He is also 6mos old
and much easier to housebreak unless he already is. Brother and sister
being raised together sounds great to me.:)

When we went to get Darla a sister I fell in love with Reece and am soooooooo glad I got him...he loves me sooooo much and is closer to me than any dog I have ever had!! He never ever marks in the house and he isnt neutered.

that would be hard to choose from for some but for me it wouldnt because I favor having a girl. But their both gorgeous.

With dogs in general, it's usually recommended that you go with opposite sex pairings. Maybe it's not as big of a deal with yorkies as it is with bigger dogs, but generally the boy falls in love with the girl and just lets her walk all over him. :) Sometimes you can get female-female squabbles, and male-male fights. Opposite pairs are safest, but that doesn't mean other pairings can't work. Depends on the owner and the dog. I have to say though, that male is gorgeous! Go for it!

I do love Calleb because I have seen him and seen is picture alot, and it seems kinda sad that no one has taken him yet. I am definetly going to wait until Hannah is spayed before getting a boy, and I an going to schedule that soon. I just love that little girl though, I feel some kind of connection with her picture just like I did with Hannah. My husband stills says no though, with I probably wouldn't care much but he does have a point-we already have 3 dogs and a cat. I am still thinking about it though. I might just surprise him one day....;)
