:p We're leaving CO and are are headed to AL to take two of our cars and a huge trailer with our "stuff"!! We will fly back to CO on 4/10 and pick up the "TotoMobile" [our motorhome] and Jeep then we plan to just relax and travel for a few weeks! We will do some "sightseeing" that we haven't allowed ourselves time to do and will visit friends in Chicago. Toto is having a great time .... she loves to travel. We made yesterday a "short day" because of the stress of driving that monster trailer over the Rockies!! :rolleyes: Will be somewhere the other side of Kansas tonight. Hope to catch up on some of the posts .... geez there's lots of them!! :)

Sooooo ... Toto and I will be following Patrick yet again today. Having fun in the Mustang .... may just put the top down!!! ;)

Thanks everyone!! We're a tad lazy and getting a late start this AM. I have been watching the weather channel ... :( ... saw those awful storms! If it gets too bad, we will just stop and spend an extra day in Kansas! :p

:thumbup: We stopped for the night in Salina! Didn't run into too much rain, but the Toto got a little sick .... threw up and scared us spittless! She seems fine now ... probably just stress or at least that's what we're hoping! :( At any rate, we're tired and settling in and will see what tomorrow brings!! Our life has been an adventure ever since we met!! :p The Toto is our icing on the cake! ;) She is all snugged in and waiting for us to join her! Hope she has a happy day tomorrow! :cool:

bettyanne..... is all okay I am franticly looking for other people on that are in the area....

Oh, you are such an angel! Patrick hasn't been feeling well and yesterday we decided to stop in Columbia to stay the night. We stopped around 2, thinking we would just take the afternoon to rest from driving. He was having pain in his stomach. Later on, it began to be excruciating! Since we can't leave Toto in the room at the hotel and didn't want to leave her in the car, he was just going to take a cab to the ER and get checked out. All the cab's were tied up so one of the girls at the hotel desk took him to University of Missouri Hospital ER. He was there until after 2:30 AM undergoing tests, CatScan, etc. and they diagnosed it as Diverticulitis, gave him pain meds, antibiotics and prescriptions for more. He felt a tad better this AM .... I got the prescriptions filled and gave them to him. Around noon the pain was so unbearable he was almost screaming and could hardly stand up. Scared me spittless so I threw he and Toto in the car and rushed him back to the ER. I had no choice but to leave Toto in the car in her crate and ran back & forth all afternoon cooling the car down and letting the AC run!! She was mortified! I am just desperate because they insisted that Patrick be admitted and I have no idea when he will be released. I spoke with Cindy [my daughter-in-love] this afternoon and she said she and my son would come up and get her this week-end but it's our granddaughter's Senior Prom and I cannot allow them to do that. Prom is a big deal and I won't make it home but I won't let them miss it! Geez ... I'm rambling ... sorry! I don't trust anyone with Toto but thought if we had a YT member here in Columbia, I would trust them with her. Right now, I'm just beside myself and will probably be thinking more clearly tomorrow!!

Thank you so very much!! I also heard from one of the girls at the front desk, there is a place here called Noah's Ark ... they board pets and also have a sort of daycare for short stays. She says she has heard some very good recommendations and that they give them lots of attention. I would only need her to stay for a few hours a day. I'm going to look at it in the AM, although, Patrick votes an emphatic "No!" :p

We live about 2 hours from Columbia, but my husband works all day and sometimes late and I am home with the kiddos. I really wish that I could be more help!! :(
