It's okay! Sometimes when you register your dog with the American Kennel Club or a similar organization they have the big fancy names but then they have an every day name or a "call name", too. So my Yorkie is Dee's Lil' Diminutive Diva. Dee's Lil' refers to the kennel or breeder that she came from then the Diminutive Diva is her "kennel name" but her "call name" is Calliope Belle. :) Does that make more sense?
I didn't register my Cairn terrier so he doesn't have a registered name...he's just good ole Braxton Poupon McPlop! :p lol | OK, so did Dee register that name, and you go with that? I remember when I was calling breeders before I got Chloe, one breeder told me that she registers them, so they have her name, and then the new owner does the transfer of ownership. A little different than how I did it I guess.
Just wondering, since I don't know too much about the naming thing. :p |
