| Hello! My baby girl Jeanie is 5.5 months, and we just now got her ears clipped right! WE had taken her to a few groomers, but none of them shaved the front and the back like you are supposed to if the ears are not standing. Her ears do not stand up (yet). I hope it isn't too late. I want her to have the cute little Yorkie ears....I will still love her to pieces if she doesn't, but that is such a trademark Yorkie thing. What are the chances that they won't stand up? I'm thinking of taping them like is suggested.....any thoughts/suggestions appreciated. I have attached a picture. This is a few weeks old, but her ears are about the same now (except that today they finally were shaved properly). |

| My girl will be 4 yrs old in June and her ears have always been down.. I had the groomer shave the tips for the first time a few weeks back and it was amazing to me that they were almost all the way up 24 hours later! I guess it depends on the dog, but I wouldn't be surprised if you babies ears go up. She is adorable by the way!!

| I love those ears too and they will probably stand up. I have a Westie and I was so worried that her ears were not going to stand up. Then only one did and I worried that the other wouldn't, but as she aged they both perked right up. I have a Yorkie that I rescued from a puppy mill and her ears flop and are so cute. She was kept in a small carrier with no room to stand so the cartliage in her ears broke down. She has so much character with the floppy ears don't ya' think? And, you will love your furbaby even if it has no ears.
