I'm so glad Tye seems to be doing well on the pills. I hope they are as helpful for him as they've been for Tansy, keeping my fingers crossed for him :)
My vet said that if they do well on the pills it can add an extra 4 years to their life.
One thing I've learned to beware of with the Fusemide, is to make sure she has smallish, regular drinks. She won't drink when she's away from home & a couple of times when we've taken her out for the day, she hasn't drunk the water we took, drank lots when she got home & ended up with diaorrhea. Till we became aware of the cause, we thought she'd picked up some bug, one vet put her on antibiotics. But our regular vet explained it's tied up with the extra water flooding the bowel & diluting the motion, because of the diuretic. |
