Contagious?? Hi all, my roommate just woke up with the cold today. Do you guys think that Coco could get sick if she's around her? I know this might be a weird question but she's so tiny I don't want anything happening to her. Should I keep her away from my roommate?? Thanks |
Dogs can't get human diseases! |
Just making sure. The paranoid little mama that I am... :thumbs up |
But they can transport them...so watch Coco kissing your friend and then you or you might be the next one sick. |
I think it is funny that you are more worry more about Coco catching the cold instead of yourself. Everyone is correct. Coco can't catch it from your roommate, however, Coco be contaminated by the virus and transmitted to you. |
You guys are tooo smart...I never thought of that, of course they can carry germs! It never dawned on me! Duh......learn something new every day! Thanks, guys, for the FYI! |
Glad to hear that also. I was afraid Snoodles could catch something from me, be it a cold or flu, Etc. Glad to hear! See, we always learn something! Pat |
Just goes to show how much I love my little girl. I would rather suffer and get sick than her. She's so little and they're so helpless and sad when they're down. I don't think I could handle it if she got sick. I would kick my roomates butt, but now that I know that the only real person in danger is me, I'm ok...haha |
Another old thread I posted, hahaha with ridiculous questions..lol |
Nobella, if you look back in threads I started, I posted this EXACT same question!!!! My how the time sure does fly by. My itty bitty babies are all grown up. :( |
Not a ridiculous question! You're just more informed now. ;) |
I sound soooo panicked in every thread I posted..loool |
I think I did in most of my early posts also... and I'm still a newbie compared to you guys. |
not ridiculous at ALL!! I thought the same thing until I was told that dogs can't catch human viruses!! |
Now I have always heard that dogs can catch some human viruses, Like strepthroat. I would have her wash her hands before touching her. Just to be on the safe side. |
