I'm getting my Libby...let the countdown begin!

I am happy to announce that I will be getting my new baby girl next Sunday! I am getting her from yorkiegirl2 (Sherry) and I will fly to St. Louis to get her. Her name will be Libby Rae. I had the name Libby Lou picked out, but the day before my Mom died, I told Mom it would be Libby Rae. Rae is Mom's middle name.

I will be taking an early filght...in the wee hours of the morn and get there at 9:05...then catch the 10:30 back and should be home by about 4:30.

I just can't wait to hold that little sweetie and smell that puppy breath! I hope and pray Maddie will love her to pieces! Maddie needs a playmate as she's been missing Mom and lays around so much of the time.

Oh Connie that makes me miss my Libby so much! I guess you all remember what happened to her, she was stolen by a worker (we guess) after Katrina. It still breaks my heart! I can't wait to you get your little Libby!! Maddie will be so excited!

Libby Rae is such a little cutie pie!!! I'm sure you are counting not just the days, but the hours and even the minutes!! You are going to have so much fun with her. Don't forget to pack your camera so you can document the entire homecoming procedure!!!

Finally.... the news is out. I just couldn't wait til you told everyone. It was so hard keeping it. lol I'm soooo excited for you. Sherry...thanks so much for the pictures! I'm already in love with her! She is so adorable! It's so hard to believe that I'll have her in less than a week!

Oh congratulations Connie!!! I am soooo excited for you!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: And how funny, Libby was one of the names that I had picked out for my little girl - but because she came from Tatum, TX - we just HAD to name her Tatum....it just fit! :p But I always tell my hubby that if we ever get another girl, her name is going to be Libby :p One of my neighbors has a little girl named Libby (a SKIN child, lol) and I have always loved that name! :thumbup:

Your baby is a total doll and I can't wait to see more pictures of her once you bring her home!! :D
