Do you have her number? lol |
looking for a friend i've always wanted a dog, but everyone advises me to stay away from the pet stores ny ne know of a good breeder in nyc, with reasonable prices?? |
Wow, there are some awesome prices on this thread!! When I was looking for my yorkies the prices I found ranged between 2,900-5,000 dollars. All be it, I was looking for incredible pedigrees, champion bloodlines and only AKC. I ended up with two dogs that are fit for show and they cost me as much as 3 authentic Chanel bags would. I'll let you figure out the math ;) Jaden's been neutered so he won't be showing, his personality wasn't fit for the ring, he doesn't like being around such large crowds but both of his parents were AKC champion show dogs and has has 67 champions in his pedigree.:D I drove 8 hours to get him (Jewelina's trip was 6 hours long), that racked up quite a bill in and of itself! Especially with gas prices:rolleyes: And of course I paid to have both of them registered with AKC. They have both been worth every single penny and then some! I might show Jewelina if she gets big enough, she's done well in handling classes. I've been told by several show judges that she would do extremely well in the ring if she gets big enough, the only problem with her now is her size, she's too small at under 2 pounds and 3 weeks away from being 6 months old. I guess we'll just have to wait and see... |
We paid $900 for Keely. The breeder gave us $100 off because my boyfriend built her a new website. She was well worth the money. She came from a great breeder. I searched for about 2 years looking for the right breeder and the right dog. |
i paid $1500 canadian for lottie. she has a very good pedigree. her father is a champion in both brazil and canada, her mother is a champion in canada and her grandmother was best of breed in canada 3 years in a row. there are also more champions in her pedigree but those are just the ones that stand out to me right now. i am really happy with the choice i made and i am more than happy with lottie. the breeder had several offers for $3000 on lottie from breeders who wanted to show her but was happy to be sending her home with me. i could potentially show her if i wanted to but i think i will just let her be my spoiled pup instead :D |
For spanky i paid 1,000 and for nessa she was higher, but i have an amazing breeder :) but yorkies are not cheap these days when you want a good breeder and a healthy little pup. |

CoCo was $950 but also I looked for 4 years straight, and she is 19 weeks right now and weights in at a whopping 2 lbs and 3 oz. She will be 3 lbs full grown. Through the years that I was looking I was quoted from as high as $7,500.00 to as low as $500. The lower ones weren?t raised in a good home and weren?t for sure full bread. My little baby CoCo is full AKC registered, and I have pics of her parents, and grandparents. She is the perfect color I was looking for. And I was going to buy from a lady that is on the list of breeders from Yorkshire Terrier Club of America or YTCA, but her price for the little girl was $1,825, and she was going to be probably a 5 lb dog, and completely silver. I was a week away from paying that lady and putting a deposit on that baby, then I looked in the paper and found another lady went and looked at her babies, they were raised inside around humans and other dogs, the lady?s house was nice, and clean, and the puppy area was clean and I just held her and she fit literally in the palm of my hand so I put a deposit on her and then the lady came to my house to drop her off. So it was great. I got a full health guarantee on her and everything. |
i just wanted to know if anyone knew of any good breeders in new york city, queens, brooklyn, or manhattan |

Now, talking about the gorgeous Miss Jewelina, if she doesn't grow big enough to show..... just send her my way for a cuddle and I might just keep her 'cause her Mommy doesn't appreciate her grand stature;) LOL |
Remi was $800 from a store. He is about 10 lbs now and very healthy. Rocky was $1000 from a breeder, he is 2.2 lbs at 15 weeks, very happy dog. I think anything past $1200 is a rip off. |

LOL I am sure Jewelina would LOVE to come cuddle with you! I love her to death, even if she is a little half pint!:p :p :p She would appreciate someone who would recognize her grand stature though! Mommy keeps trying to tell her she's an itty bitty thing and she keeps trying to convince her that she isn't and in fact she is bigger than Mommy and can take Mommy down and her "Big" brother if anyone tries to take away her stuffed animal! :D |
*WOW* look @ all the different prices for different size of yorkies but everyone is very happy w/ them !! ;) |
