| Cody has elevated kidney enzymes.... I have been having problems with Cody lately. He is on Clomicalm and both of his kidneys have elevated enzymes. Also, he has taken to lifting his leg and peeing in the house. I have to take him Thursday and leave him all day to have x-rays of the kidneys to rule out stones and also a urinalysis to rule out a bladder infection. I am just so upset about the peeing in the house and now the kidney problems. I was wondering if any of you out there have used or currently use the belly bands. I am thinking of making some for him when I am gone. He just went to the door and I was not right there so he lifted his leg on the trash can!. I am really concerned and worried. My husband is already asking how much all this is gonna cost. I just feel so depressed right now and want to cry. What will I do if he keeps up the peeing in the house and also what if his kidneys fail. I may be taking him off the Clomicalm. I can deal with the barking over the peeing and I certainly don't want to damage his kidneys. I just feel so down. |

| So sorry to hear about your baby...Let's pray that everything turns out okay. Miko is 100% potty trained, but let me tell you...Miko has bladder stones and an intrahepatic liver shunt, and everytime he isn't feeling well, he'll pee where he's not supposed to so that he can get our attention. That's the signal for us that we need to take him to the vet. They have their ways of telling us they don't feel good. Try not to worry yourself too much until you have more information. If they find that he has stones, they'll put him on a special diet or take the appropriate steps to get him better. And a bladder infection can be cleared up with antibiotics. I know that it could be more serious than that, but I'm just trying to help
