Secret Spot Remover.....
 
IT'S WINDEX!!! I got a tip from another YT member Tigger367. IT WORKS GREAT. Just put a napkin over the pee stain to absorb, spray windex to really dampen the carpet, rub with a towel and dry. I'M TELLING YOU IT REMOVES THE SPOT LIKE NOTHING ELSE. I guess the guy from My Big Fat Greek Wedding was right Windex DOES cure everything :rolleyes:

I was wondering, too if it goes all the way through the padding to get the stink out....:confused:

LOL i just had to laugh at that lol it was funnyright after the blue spot question because they do have a few different colors lol. does it bleach your carpet or discolor it at all?

I read somewhere that windex is not supposed to be used on pee stains BC it's ammonia based, and it attracts puppies back to this same spot.
I don't think that any cleaner that doesn't have enzymes, will not do the trick in the long run .JMHO.

Thank you for sharing the tip. Your are so funny :lol tears I have to tell my hubby that the guy of My big fat greek wedding was right he is going to :laugh: Maybe I should spray some in his feet or armpit, he, he....

It works well on both old and new stains. It has to be the blue kind only, not any other scent or color windex. The only color carpet that you have to be carful with when using this is if your carpet is white!!! If your concerned with the amonia in it, I can tell you I have not had any repeat offenders. Its an old trick from my carpet cleaning job years ago. I used it to remove an old red kool-aid stain with help from an iron. If you want to know the iron secret feel free to pm me.

I agree you need something with enzymes but I've yet to find anything to remove pee stains once they've bleached the carpet. My point was that it removes stains, I didn't say it prevented pups from peeing in that spot again. Though Coco hasn't peed in any of the spots I sprayed from her playdate buddy who tinkled on the carpet in two places. I've been using it to remove stains then use a spray with enzymes.

ok... so if I windex all of my spots... then get the simple solution and spray that around afterwards... and then call the carpet guy... do you think my friggen carpet will look something like CARPET???? and less like my dogs bathroom??:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

I will flood the house in windex if it will work!!! I'm ready to rip up the carpet! I have had them cleaned and cleaned... and they are clean!!! But the spots won't go away!!!!!!!:mad:

Use this windex trick on the spots and then your carpets will be spotless and clean. I use the windex for the spots and then use my carpet cleaner to clean the carpets as needed.

It's working for me. I have light gree carpet so a yellow pee stain REALLLY shows. One area of my carpet looks like a doggie bathroom too because we get pups over for playdates and they drench it. So I had it cleaned ubt it's still a bit yellowy. But now I spray the windex (only blue), scrub with a towel, and dry it well. Try it, let us know if it works for you :D

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one relying on good ole Windex. I found that the stuff with enzymes left a sticky residue on my carpet even after rinsing and then it collected dirt = worse stain. Windex has repelled the little stinkers from the spot. Works on my laminant floors too.

I have been using Fantastic. It even says it's safe on carpets. But I'll give windex a try.

well my problem is i have dark green carpets and i can't see the stains or pee spots and the black light doesn't show them either but the dogs know where they are because they keep peeing in here agghh and it's new carpet:eek: :mad:
