Okay, so I do not know if someone posted a thread on here already about this but...Last night I saw this on Fox 11 News and I could not believe it!!! Home invasion Robbery to steal Yorkies...

When they aired part of the video I was in shock...this is the breeder I got my Trini & Coco from and later got my Gracie from. They are good people!!! :( I feel so bad I am choked up everytime I think about it. So, I called her and got the whole story and I want to share it with you all...

Last Thursday, they recieved a call from potential puppy buyers that seemed kind of suspicious. Kelly, did not want to give her address out! She told them her general area and to call when they would be on their way. They called her back on Friday and told her they would be there around 7:30pm and she gave them her address. Kelly had plans for later that night and as 7:30 pm came by nobody showed up. Her friends got to her house and as she was getting ready, at 8:30 the 2 men (if you could even call them that) finally showed up. They intercomed her to tell her they were there but she told them it was too late and they had to come another time. Unfortunately, her father had intercommed them in from the other room. One week before this Kelly's family had installed video survailence on their property...

Next thing you know they had pulled guns out and told everyone to get on the floor and proceeded to pull out a large black trash bag and throw the 4 puppies she had in the living room into the bag. I even saw this part on the news. They told her to put the dog in her hands down and she begged them to leave that one, that it was her pet and they could take the pups but leave Tan-Ja. They took the gun to her head and told her to put her down and so she did and they thre her in the trash bag as well and then they left.

The police, of corse, were called immediately and got there in 10 minutes, which is not common for Los Angeles. The robbers left fingerprints on their furniture as they had touched the leather couches and the police say it is hopeful they will catch the suspects >90% but they may never find the puppies or her beloved pet Tan-Ja.

I can't help but tear up when I write this to you or when I think of poor Kelly and her pain and her family's pain. But I had to share...:( This is so sad and scary...

It's sick....they were stuffing those poor puppies into BAGS !! OMG that's so horrible ! It's really sad that puppies are now being sold as drugs and stolen like merchandise....and that poor mom dog...

That video is so sad the poor babies were running from them..

Oh no!! This is so shocking. I hope the babies are okay. I will praying so hard for their return.

OMG I don't know what I would do in that situation!! I'm sick just thinking about it!! I hope she gets all her dogs but especially the little mama back. :( :(

I just saw it on the news this morning! How Horrible and scary! This is one of the down sides of the breed being so popular and expensive. I sure hope they catch these jerks!

I am going over there on Saturday and she will show me the whole video so I can keep an eye out as well. I am so broken for her...I do not think Tan-Ja was the mom of those pups but I know she was her loved pet and went everywhere with her. It is sooo sad!

It's Sad.. they will probably never find the dogs.
But, I hope they find the Thugs, lock them up for a very, very long time.
This is the scary part of being a seller...you never know who is coming to your home..:(

I couldn't view it either. Just reading the story horrifies me!!

This is unbelievable! You really can not trust anyone anymore.
I pray they are found and returned safely to their owner.
That poor women must be out of her mind with worry.

This is completely heartbreaking. The video is very difficult to watch. My heart goes out to her and her family - I can only imagine what they are going through. My only hope is that they catch these guys and recover those poor babies. I want to see those lowlifes punished - one way or another. Jeeeze...this has really ruined my day. :mad:

This is getting more common as time goes on. A young gal who had a 3 pound Yorkie that was her only baby, had her apt. broken into and the only thing taken was her Yorkie. An eldery lady was walking her Yorkie and two men approached her and took the leash and off they ran. Neither Yorkie was ever found nor were any of the people responsible.
My heart breaks just thinking of these poor little dogs who are so scared and traumatized wondering where their mommy and daddy are. I will pray for a safe return of her dog and the puppies.

That completely made me cry watching those poor babies run & scurry trying to get away. Those poor babies. Stuffed in a plastic sack that could suffocate them. Makes me angry.
I hate that the Lee's lost their pet/breeding dog as well. That makes a broken heart and loss of income...

It just worked for me as soon as I replied about not being able to see it. So, so sad:( I pray that they can find these cruel people and that all the pups and their mom are ok and returned.

This is why I don't like people coming to my house to see puppies. You never know if they are for real or not. I know it makes it hard for the buyers who want to see their living conditions but this is a horrifying story that can become a popular event and happen to anyone!

Unbelievable, what a horrible story. Hope they catch the thieves, but more importantly that they recover their pets.

even having multiple adults in the home didn't keep them safe but letting people into their home at late at night isn't such a good idea ...but I've seen other news reports about yorkies being stolen in the daytime too so who knows....

how terrifying for them and even as outraged I am for the poor puppies those people were lucky they weren't killed :( :(

I saw this too! The family was smart enough to have camera in their home and at the front door! From what I saw it looks like the camera captured really good pictures of the robbers faces.

I just can't imagine how scared the puppies and the mama must be! In the video the puppies were running away from the robbers to family members..

So sad..

I totally agree Villette. It could have been so much worse. People are shot for no good reason these days by despicable people who have no regard for human life. This story makes me so angry I could literally spit nails. :mad: And it scares me at the same time.

I couldn't continue to watch after I saw the puppies running away scared. Those poor, poor babies! What is wrong with those men?! It's just sick!

Its a stuck between a rock and a hard spot situation!

Good reputable breeders need to let the prospective buyers see the mom and dad and there living conditions. And then again, they have to be on the lookout for people with guns. GEEZE!!! What is this world comming to???

Those poor pups and that other girl furbaby.. My heart just hurts from hearing this horrible story.

I sure hope those pups and girl were sold and not just thrown away in the garbage. I hate even thinking of what happened to them.
