Wow, no offense, but you should have posted an advisory about the video... I did not to need to see a dog get crushed in a trash truck. :( :thumbdown

oh my goodness, I hardly made it to the end. Of course, yes, now I am crying. That was just horrible. Especially when they treat those animals like they're teddy bears or something :mad: :mad: They are living just like you are..DUH!!!

I agree, some people might not want to watch a poor dog getting "crushed", I know I don't:thumbdown.

didnt know yall were going to take such offense to me posting it . everyone else puts pictures up of puppymills and everything . im sorry to say this is the truth and people should see it

I'm sorry for all who didn't want to see it, it hurt me too but I am glad I did. I did not know they do this the way they do. The shots, the gas, oh my...I think I'm getting sick! :sickie:

:cry2: That was literally the most horrible thing that i have ever seen in my life. Those guys that put that dog in the truck deserve the death penalty. This video is seriously disturbing and makes me want to go an adopt another dog. Omg and how cruel was the poisoning. I wished i never had watched that at all. I was crying for ages!!!

Txgurl06 - GRAPHIC CONTENT warnings are good when we post these kinds of links .....but you're right - people DO need to know about this -

What's really awful is that was only ONE video that someone put together and not even the worst probably.....there are countless cruelties inflicted on dogs every single day in every single state that don't ever make it to video. :( :(

People really don't know how bad it is in this country and those clips are a tool to help educate.... but they are very upsetting and depressing to watch.....when I first saw something like that I was haunted for a long time (I still am) and I could never get it out of my head.

I am balling my eyes out right now :( I had to shut it off at the before the gas chamber part came on. they call US humans???? I dont get it? How can people be so cruel? It doesnt make any sense at all. If I get another dog, I am rescuing it. I would love to rescue them ALL. Poor innocent animals that rely on so called humans to take care of them. They dont ask for anything except food and love. IT is just way too sad and incomprehesable to me.

Well, you posting it may have actually saved a few of these poor shelter animals. Im glad u posted it. I know that It is sad but it IS a wakeup call for those who just kind of put this kind of thing out of their mind (Im guilty too) No one likes to think of this happening, but it is a sad reality that I think we need to wake up about. I was thinking of buying another pup, but after seeing this, I really just want to rescue one instead. Hard to see, but thanks for posting.

Txgurl06, please don't feel so bad. Maybe you could edit your first post with a disclaimer that says "VERY GRAPHIC". While the video was truely disturbing and shows humanity at its lowest, it is the reality for many animals. That reality DOES NOT and WILL NOT change if we hide from it!

While the scenes in it made me want to alternately scream in rage and cry, I appreciate the message. The cruelty of humans never ceases to amaze me. If only it could be required viewing for the people who walk into pet stores looking for their new little family member.

I think this is a sick and disgusting way to treat the only animal on earth that loves you more than you love yourself. I am not sorry it was posted or that I watched it even though it made me sick to my stomache. People need to be aware that this kind of thing is happening all over. Closing your eyes because it is too hard to watch isnt going to make it go away but educating people about puppymills and what is really going on in these places is the first step to getting it stopped or at least slowed down. I wish when they would play stuff like this, they would tell you where the videos were taken so people can start to do something about getting rid of these sorry S.O.B.s for good.
