| Too young to go outside? My Shadow is going to be 12 weeks old on Sunday and I was wondering if he is too young to take him outside for a walk to go to the bathroom. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. |

| Just be careful and not take him around where other animals have been..., they can pick up all sorts of diseases .... and viruses.... example parvo will live a very long time in the grass... small puppies are very vunerable to everything and I would be very cautious... |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | When we got Stedman at 12 weeks, we started taking him outside almost immediately - only because he would NOT use his puppy pads. Of course, he had already had his Parvo shot but there was nothing else I could do since he refused to use the pads I only took him in the back yard though, not the front. Tatum on the other hand, is almost 14 weeks now but she is just soooo tiny, I am way too scared to take her outside, I don't know WHY I am so freaked out about it, but I just am Not to mention, the first few days after we brought her home, it was really cold - and she is just too tiny to be out in the cold like that, the poor baby shakes her little butt off Lucky for me though, she DOES use her puppy pads and she has been doing GREAT with them! I wanted to *try* and start taking her out, so that she gets used to it, but it is supposed to get really cold here either tonight, or tomorrow night (30 degrees) so I can't start now
