He'll also try to pin me and my bf down to give us kisses. If we move our face away, he'll follow and still try to give kisses. He's relentless! He always aims for the lips, lol |
I think they know what kisses are because my dogs kiss all of us when they greet us (and Bentley kisses on command), but they also kiss each other when one of them has been "bye byes" without the others! :p |

I swear my Chester knew what I was doing when I'd kiss him on the cheek as he would press his head against me. It was a ritual with us and I miss it desperately. |
Jewels will give kisses on command too |
:) It sure is affection! Zoey lovessss licking me when i wake up. I return by baby talking back. lol |
I can remember once I had scolded my shih tzu severly for something she did and she pouted all afternoon. All my dogs know what kisses are and when I would ask her for a kiss that afternoon she would turn her head away from me. At the same time she would kiss my husband when he asked for one. Another memory....Adie walked by the shih tzu and gave her one little lick on the nose as she passed by. The shepherd was also along her path and she gave him a little lick as she went by him too. She didn't break her stride just gave them each a little kiss on the way to wherever she was going. None of my dogs will give me a kiss on command unless I call it kisses with my mouth scrunched up. My husband finally got the hang of it. lol |
