I only really dress mine up when we're going out ( to Petco or the vet, ect) or when I'm taking pictures. Usually when they're around the house they're nakey... even though I have TONS and TONS of clothes for them :) |

Boots will were clothes alright, but Missy ,forget it she'd rather have her teeth pulled. lol |
When Zeus was a baby, he HATED clothes! :( So, I never tortured him and made him wear them. But, someone gave him a sweater when he was around 1 yr old and he loved it. He would get so mad when we took it off him and now he LOVES clothes. He gets so excited when you mention them! :p |

Nope, Coco has no clothes. I have never even tried anything on her. I was gonna get her and my bulldog hoodies for Christmas, but never did! Your not the only one for sure!!! |
We live in Texas, where it's hot quite frequently...plus Muffin is a rough & tumble girl who plays hard & overheats easily. Therefore, I never put clothes on her. She had two surgeries in December & January & now has two large scars that go from her front legs to her back legs on her chest & belly. I decided to have her wear shirts whenever she's outside or going with us somewhere, to protect the scars. She thinks it's the weirdest thing ever! She lets me put them on her, but she is always looking at me with confusion in her eyes! :) CJ |

Can someone direct me a little on harnesses. Here in Ireland I've never seen the kind you all talk about. What exactly are the 'dress' or 'hoodie' type harnesses? Louis hates his current one (it's a leash type and to fit it you put it over his face, behind his two front paws and buckle it underneath his tummy and then attach the leash to a hook on top). I'd love to get something that fits easily over his face and just clips into place in a cozy fabric. Hope I'm making sense and that someone can help. Thank you! Mary. |

My yorkie boy loves clothes..........I have been putting them on since the day I got him so he is used to it. The poodle on the other hand, acts like I am punishing her. The only reason why she has dresses and clothes is because I feel I have to be fair. I buy them both stuff :D Mostly her clothes are for when we go out to the petstore or for pics but nothing more. |
You are not alone! My kids DO NOT like to wear clothes. I have made coats and some really cute things, I bought the MOST INCREDIBLE DRESS from Jodie (chloeandj) at www.ChloeBella.com. But Chizzie is more like a lady wrestler and Chattie scrunches up her hiney and acts like she is being punished when I put clothes on her. So for us, my kids are little nudies  except when I dress them up to go shopping or show-off. Poor Peppy has to serve as my model when I am making small clothes -- I hope he isn't affected by having to try on girly pink things.:D |
You're not the only one. I think putting clothes on dogs is kind-of weird. (To each his own, of course!) Joey has one coat and that's it. |
My daughter and I bought Cody a cute terry cloth bath robe when he was a puppy. We thought it would be cute to put it on him after his baths. He absolutely hated it. He hates anything terry cloth -- especially towels. They make him growl. Cody does have a couple sweaters and 2 polar fleece jackets that he wears outside. (I work at Land's End and they sell warm dog coats!) He even has a little t-shirt that he wears as a pj's just to keep him warm at night. He loves them all! And . . . It's cold here in Wisconsin! |
