I'm putting my new baby Kamari on Ebay 4 Attachment(s) I can't take it anymore, I'm gonna sell her lil azz on Ebay if she doesn't stop this behavior. She backs Kodak in corners where he has to fight his way out.(1st Picture) She is terrorizing Kodak and he wants to move out.:( I can see it in his eyes, he is ready to get to packing & give her space. I can't take it  she's driving us all . The breeder said she was a spitfire, but she's a volcano. She gets mad when you don't let her eat Kodaks food & she'll try to bite. She literally wrecks the basement floor with toys and will deliberately pee on the floor to spite me.:thumbdown She runs around trying to jump on Kodaks back and he's not having it. It's been a week and he's still mean to her. Everytime Kodak tries to warm up to her, she blows it and tries to nip at him (playing). She has the face of an innocent yorkie, but the personality of a wild baby fox. My son says she's mixed with some wild beast. When you pick her up she gives you kisses, and when you put her down she nips you at the ankle and toes. Ebay bid starting at ? No wait, I may have to do a buy it now to give Kodak some peace. :( I'm gonna try to be patient, but she may wind up in my ebay store. Girls are suppose to be sweet, instead she's making Kodak out to be sweet. |
Hang in there she is just a puppy, but make sure she knows you are the boss...:) I knew you haven't had her long, I just looked back at your post...Give it sometime, it takes a week or two to get everyone back to normal.... but if you insist on ebay, I bid 1.00 :) |
I'm trying to show her who's boss. Kodak was so easy, I just clapped my hands real loud and shouted "that's no" and he stopped. With her, she runs up and trys to hop up and bite. Or she reacts by running around like a chicken with his head cut off. It was working a few days ago, now she's being spiteful. |

We are having the same trouble. Misha our oldest hates Max. It's been over 2 weeks & they still don't want to be around each other. Piper doesn't mind Max, but Max bites her tail & is always jumping on her. Max tries to steal food from Misha & Misha will turn to snip at Max. I thought 3 wouldn't be any harder than 2, Ha! I was wrong. Maybe instead of E-Bay we'll trade. LOL This little boy is a lot of work. |
Ill take her. I like the spitfires. Just enjoy her while she is little they get big so quick and then you wish for another little one to have around |

She sounds like Betty's twin! The ONLY thing that has scared her so far is the vacuum...NOTHING ELSE!! |
That face is probably what is saving her from e-bay.;) I don't evy you but hang in there. Some of these little ones are just determined to get their own way. I have one but he has calmed down considerably as he got older. But still I have to stay on top of him at times. Just like skin babies you wonder how something so tiny can be so strong willed. Poor Kodak, hang in there buddy. Carol & Buddy:aimeeyork |

Chloe did a lot of this in the early weeks. We would sometimes call her devil dog. We had to work really hard on the biting. (I posted somewhere on here about how we conquered the biting). For the food agression, try feeding Kodak first. Then when you feed her, get her used to being bothered by first petting her while she eats. Praise her when she's calm. Then start to slowly put your hands in her food while she eats. This is another one that needs to be dealt with or it can get out of hand. Anyway, Chloe is now the sweetest lil' dog in the world, but there were times when I thought I might have to call 1-800-FREE-2-GOOD-HOME. Hang in there. It will get better! :) |

Chachi, you're right about them getting bigger quick, I need to treasure these moments. I didn't have this problem with Kodak. He made me want another one, and now....? LOL, I know she's just a baby so I will grin and bear it. I feel sorry for Kodak, he looks so :( . I am going to put my foot down and show her who's the boss of this house.:D Okay Peanut, I'm listening and maybe I'll eat my words, but right now, no! WTH, see just now I'm sitting on the floor with her and she just pooped on my magazine. She pooped right on Mary J Blige's nose, she did this on purpose, I turned my back for 2 seconds.:( |

No! No! Be patient! LOL! My little Truffles was also called "the spitfire" of the litter by the breeder! Boy was she not joking!! She is an ankle biter, and a hard biter too, and she terrorizes my Vixxen!! However....it took a good 5WEEKS before Vixxen warmed up to her!!! They run around together now but Vixxen will still jump up on the chase cause Truffles is too small to jump up there still - so it is her "safe spot!" Anyway, she is still a spitfire, but after those 2 finally showed they liked each other, things got easier...but 5 WEEKS!! I hope it doesn't take as long with you...will you wait it out? Quote:

Second Ebay bid. $450. JK give her time. {Atleast I hope I was joking} TyTy |
Wait, why isn't anyone mentioning the huge ELEPHANT in the room??? Picture #1 :D |

Maggie would love a challenge LOL good luck to you girl...she will get better :) |

HAHA. little stink! someone told me a can with dry beans or pennys or something that makes a loud noise helps. but i am loud enough, the dogs know i mean business :) do you piddle pad train or take them out? i never had luck with the piddle pads with any of my dogs. i swear by the grass outside :) maggie rings bells when she needs to go out. She potty trained very quickly once she knew how to tell me when she needed to go out. i tried doing the schedule thing where she goes out at certain times but i was horrible at keeping that up. so the bells worked great. i can't remember the last accident we had. not bad for 18 weeks old, IMO. hun, I know you are about to pull your hair out. I had an italian greyhound that I did end up re-homing. I just could not train him. I had never had so much trouble with ANY dog. not even the ones that weighed twice as much as me. it was horrible. i realized what he needed was a yard to run around in and I lived in an apartment. Maybe she needs to run more? I really have no idea. I wish I had some good advice...I like the advice to put them on their back and make them submit. that is GREAT advice. it really works!! I only had to do it once with maggie and she is such a sweet obedient little thing now. we only had about a week of her "volcano" attitude and then I read about putting them on their back and she is a different dog now. let us know how it goes. and like I said in my last post...I'll take her :) |
Be Patient! I just picked up our 2nd Yorkie Last Friday and it has taken this entire week for them to adjust to each other, that is why I got Henry so soon after Charlie, it was now or not at all, they are 4 days apart and I knew they would have to grow up together or I would have to wait...Charlie pounces on Henry who is more laid back, BUT he stands up for himself, it just takes time, then they go nap together on the Puppy Couch...Keep us posted...Oh~ P. S. to get their attention when it gets out of hand, I slap a newspapaer or magazine on my hand, I read they hate that sound (any dog), and they just stop and look at me like "What?" haha, it slows things down...Good Luck and keep us posted, but don't do anything drastic... |
Aww sweety I feel your pain Daisy is the same exact way too lol she gets really mean sometimes and terroizes Peeka and i feel really bad and then she's really lovable with me and i forgive her then she goes potty on the floor and i'm mad again. Hopefully it will settle down for you. My mom's dog Boo (peeka's brother) hates Daisy he tries to bite her because she won't leave him alone so we bought a muzzle and put it on him one time and he hasn't tried to go after her again lol. Kodak just needs some time mabey when they play don't let her jump on him at all stay right with them and show her it's not ok. |
WHAT DOES THE BIDDING START AT ?? I want to put in my high bid and just sit back and collect !! :D She's SO Freaking CUTE - I love that face - she looks like she has the devil in her for real but - it WILL PASS - Poor Kodak - I think for now he just needs to stay out of the little wilderbeast's way and wait for the puppy biting stage to be over lol - RED is perfect on that little devil - good color choice  Man I miss having a puppy in the house and Kodak - you WILL look back on this and laugh one day....I promise you will - (well - maybe i better not promise just in case) give Kodak extra smoochies and some from the girls - Chanel says she totally understands what it's like to be invaded by a real live squeaky toy |
Aw, sorry to hear about your troubles. These little ones can be challenging sometimes can't they? I haven't had trouble with Jewelina being mean to Jaden but she does want to play with him ALL the time and he's like "chill" Maybe you could try what I do and put up a section in the room where kodak is just for her, put up a baby face so she can't get out but they can still see each other. That way Kodak will get some peace of mind and she'll learn that she can't go nuts on him all the time. You can get baby gates at Target or Walmart for lik 8.00  I also have "crate time" for Jewelina everyday...consider it like a baby taking a nap. From 4:00-6:00 pm everyday Jewelina goes in her crate and she's on the floor so Jaden can still go up and sniff her if he wants to but that's Jadens "alone" time and my "cleaning/finishing my work without having to worry about stepping on anybody" time. It's worked wonders for us and sometimes when she gets cranky, if I put her in her crate she shuts right up, curls up and goes to bed...sometimes I think they are just tired like a kid and because they are tired they are going to throw a royal fit! Anyway, I hope those tips help you and Kodak! Keep us updated! Hugs, Joy |
LOL My first yorkie was like that. In fact her name was DEVIL-DOG... That was her name because she was SOOOOOOOOOO mean. She would attack my shih tzu, terrorize my kids and bite us when she didnt get her way, SHe grew out of it and became the most wonderful dog. We changed ehr name to DEE DEE> Patience... Bon |
patience is one of the hardest things to accomplish. well, it is for me anyway. but i have really learned with my dogs that it pays off in the end. i have 3 of the best, sweetest dogs I have ever been around and it is all because of patience :) good luck sweetie...it will get better :) Stand your ground. |
She sounds like Hannah and that is why I am in no hurry to get another one right now, I have my hands completely full with her. But she is calming down a little now. Hang in there for a little while longer but if doesn't work out don't feel bad or let anyone make you feel bad about giving her another home. |
Brandi sounds like her and Betty's triplet sister.......I think the first 5 months I had her I couldn't decide who was gonna leave her or me......she drove me nuts (and I work in a clinic that treats ADHD children) so I thought about changing her name to Ritalin.......but it does seem now that she's finally starting to calm down......I was the recipiant of her biting and nipping though I have no other dog (just yet :-) )I even took her for puppy training at 4 months old.......she learned to look, sit, stay, down, give paw and bite me even harder LOL she would attack me visciously when I tried to take her harness off :2omg: ......I had to open it then put her down on the floor and hold her leash until SHE finally pulled her head out.......but things are much better and I'm glad I didn't sell her for $1.00 LOL I wouldn't trade her for anyone.....it's Brandi and Mommy forever :hearts6: |
