| found my yorkie, small problem with his eye hi guys, i found the puppy i want to buy. the only problem there is that he has a small blue drop in one of his eyes. the breeder says that he got that while playing with other puppies. she took him to the vet and has been giving him eyes drop and says that it's been getting better everyday. she will return my deposit if i go to pick it up and the eye is not better. how big of a problem is this, and should i be concerned? please help. |

| I dont know what a blue drop would be. I have heard if they are blind in an eye it is cloudy. I would have him checked by a vet maybe he can give you a better idea of what it is

| Sometimes if an eye is injured and not treated promptly a blue spot (ulcer) can form on the eye- the drops will help it and there should not be any trouble once it clears up- as long as it was caused by a minor injury and not something that he/she was born with. I have dealt with this in the past and literally the day after I administered the drops you could see improvement. Usually you have to treat it several times a day (3-4) for about a week.

| Pippa had this in one of her eyes, i noticed this about 2 days after i got her, the vet said it was a trauma to the eye ( i thought she was going blind!) she had drops for 1 month. Her is eye was fine.

| Thats exactly what the breeder said. She said she started using the drops two days ago it is getting better already. It should be gone in a week maybe earlier. The little pup is so cute I couldnt resist him. But if for some reason he doesnt heal, I have another pup lined up from a different litter. I will feel really bad if I have to chose someone else instead of him, but i hope his eye will be fine and I can bring him home in two weeks. I will post his pics in the eve |
