What a miserable woman. I've had a similar experience at Petsmart and avoid that place as much as possible--they are so overpriced! I cannot believe how stupid, and proud of it, some people can be.

You should have smiled at her and said that unlike her, you have a fiancee and three beautiful dogs that make you happy every day. Clearly, she was a miserable loonely looser that simply wanted somebody to feel as miserable as she is.

Your dogs are beautiful, especially the pekingese. They are the best dogs, after yorkies, of course

, intelligent and loyal.

For Dina_Nichole: I just checked your babies' web page and they are quite beautiful. Ignorance and stupidity should stay home; they have no business giving opinions in Pets Mart or anywhere else for that matter. You should have taken a pic of this idiot with your cell phone and posted it in a HUGE frame on this forum. I am sure admin would have allowed you to go over the size limit after such an insult!!!!

What I do find so AMAZING is that the first post here was only made yesterday and the response is already 5 pages long!! We are all so protective over our innocent little Yorkies; being new here,I am quite touched by everyone's response to Dina_Nichole's experience.

wow, I'm so appalled by what you delt with. Sorry for your bad experience. Your babies are considered toys. My Zoe is the size of your 'big giant' and everyone tells me how small she is and she is TINY to me. So ignore her stupidity, she's jealous she can't afford a tiny yorkie like yours.

Hi Dina_Nichole. That's gotta be hard. Even if you know that the person is just plain crazy and it shouldn't bother you it still gets under you skin doesn't it. Your kids are adora-puppy. No one has ever said mean things about my babies (to my face). I just have no idea how I would cope in that situation. Dina_Nichole you so did the best thing - I wouldn't have been able to think that quickly about the book - and I would have been sorely tempted to use it to "make an impression".

Brownies Mom - You need to move out to NZ 95% of people don't know what a yorkie should look like. Everyone just says CUTE! when they see my two.

I have to explain to most people that 6.5lb Dixie is in fact nearly the breed maximum size-wise and Dougal's a freak of nature at 13.5lbs. Everyone asks if Dixie's a puppy or a miniature of the breed. LOL

Only one (non-yorkie owning) person has ever come up to me and said "that's the biggest yorkie I've ever seen" of Dougal.

Im actually looking for a little sister for my precious boy and when I find her if she turns out to look anything like any one of yours I will be honestly thrilled, your girls are gorgeous!!

The unfortunate thing here is that the woman shows no sense of boundries...what if you had a skin child with you that was less than perfect or didn't have the "right" color hair?...I was always told "if you don't have something nice to say than don't say any thing at all" and I raised my children the same way...your babies are just beautiful...

I would have said I guess you think your own pets are to hidious to leave the house since you dont have them with-what a moron. When people dont know me & say something they shouldnt, I usually ask them if they have a death wish-I pitty the fool,lol.
