:animal36 Well don't feel bad. Big yorkies are as loving and beautiful as small ones, and maybe not as fragile. It would be great if they where all with the standard (0-7 lbs) but the truth is many people out there unfortunately don't breed to standard and these babies grow bigger. Although even reputable long time breeders get overthrows every now and then. Anyway I just want to tell you its ok for a baby to out of the ordinary weight wise you grow to love him just as much. Mine is 10-11 different all the time and she is gorgeous in my eyes.:animal36 |
giant yorkie My Yorkie is huge!:animal36The breeder promised he would be 10lbs max full grown. He is now 9months and 14 pounds. Oh well, I love him just the same. I also see it as a blessing, as I have two children who play a little too rough sometimes. |

I have one that is 6 lbs and one that is 11 lbs. The 11 lbs one is also the perfect size for My Daughter to play with. My 6 lbs one is nervous around children. Your right the bigger ones are the perfect pets for households with kids |
My 10lber just came running in the room licking his lips...I wonder what he just ate...lol! I guess it happens...he's still cute, just enormously so! |

I purposely looked for a breeder with larger Yorkies - they are much more fun to play with (in my mind) - very big dog like - without the Big Dog. ;) |
