I am beyond appaled!!!!! |

She sounds like a real winner... I can't get over people like that. It sounds like she was tryin to scam $350 off of the breeder. 'Cause if I read that right, it said she could send the pup back if she didn't like her. So there was no need for some costly vet visit. I hope she doesn't even get a refund. It'd serve her right. And what kind of shelter only holds a dog one day? o.o That's just rotten. It's a wonder nobody that worked there got antsy and "liberated" Lexie...aka "sneaking out the back door with Lexie under their coat". |
I'm am totally at a loss for words - shocked beyond belief over this story! Kimberly, thank you so very much for taking the time to share this with us and provide a "heads up" to potential sellers in the future to this totally crazy and idiotic person. Andrea, I'm so very sorry you had to go through all the emotional stress with Lexie - and am so very happy she is back in your arms, being loved to pieces:) It takes a special person to be owned by a yorkie and as Kimberly has in her signature, if you don't have the time, get a stuffed dog! I don't even think this person needs a stuffed one!!! Of course, I'd like to tell her where to "stuff" it!! |

Gosh, I hate to say this........but maybe sellers need to get tougher on their interviewing. Some people are just darn good liars and it's such a shame. Maybe a person should have an X# of posts or be somewhat knowlegeable about the breed prior to accepting them as buyers  Who know, I am just far beyond sicked with this story. Too much scamming on here lately :( |

Yesterday, I responded to 2 for sale ads that were posted by sellers on their 1st post (kindly suggesting they read the sticky above).........didn't even follow format or nothing (because they are new and haven't bothered to scan the site and look for rules), so they got deleted. Anyhow, I need to stay away from that area and mind my own business - I know ;) |
Still Hasn't~ Read my PM yet either, can we say CHICKEN! I hope admin kicks her off....Thanks for all the updates and glad to see all is well...yml |

i cannot believe that someone would act like that and want to kill the dog because of money?!?!?! can we say heartless? |
Thank the Lord for this happy ending and that Lexie is back home safe. Poor baby, what a terrible ordeal she had to suffer. Some people are just demented. I am glad she is G - O - N - E! Perhaps she sent herself to get euthenized... |
Ya know what? I cherished Muffin each and every day we had together. To this day I still cherish her memory in my heart. Now, when I look at Kacee I can't believe how blessed I am to have such an adorable little yorkie to love. And that is the only word I can think of...blessed. To see how some of these little dogs are treated by other people is heartbreaking. It really magnifies the love you have for these little angels and makes you appreciate them so much more when you read of things such as this. |
Thank you guys... 1 Attachment(s) Lexie is home and safe! She is with me and that is all that matter to me anymore! We cannot let people scam us! No matter who they are! We must always spread the word if they do this so everyone knows their name and where they are from! Uniting like this makes us stronger and protects the babies! You all saved Lexie and SHE and I will forever thank you! ~Andrea & Lexie |
Ahhhhh.......you can see the happiness in her eyes and yours. I'm so glad she got back home safely, such a relief!:) |
Glad she is back home with you! What a nightmare you've been through! |

I am sooooo glad Lexie got back home! I was over here in MT wishing i were closer. I'd have driven down and got that baby in a heartbeat. She looks very happy. Kristie |
We are so glad this mess is over. Erika should be ashamed of herself. |
Wow, it took me alot of reading, and I just want to say I'm really glad Lexie is back home. You just never know sometimes and in this case I'm glad there was a happy ending. I do not know that I could have remained even remotely calm at the mere mention of the word euthanasia in a situation such as this. It's mind blowing that someone would have even considered that regarding Lexie. Our little 9 yr old yorkie girl Chelsea bit my husband once when he smacked me on the thigh while we were "playing around" and yeah buddy we should have just "turned her over to animal control right then and there!" NOT! I'm sure Lexie was going through alot emotionally anyway with going to a new home, and being with children she didn't know..heck she didn't know what what going on... and it saddens me to hear of folks with no patience or understanding for dogs what so ever. :thumbdown I'm glad you have her back. My hat goes off to everyone who helped in this. You guys are great. |
admin Hope admin sees this post!!!!! |
i'm so glad lexie made it back home and away from that horrid "buyer"! was she in the pensacola humane society? i volunteered there MANY years ago when i was a teen people would just dump those poor animals there like they were nothing even once we had some tiny kittens left on the front door steps in a box and we had no room to keep them we had to put them in the bathroom. i hope lexie will find a great home i would be scared to try and find one though after that crazy person did to her. |
