Wow...I know the decision to give Lexie up was hard on Andrea and I'm glad she's back home with her! I had considered finding a home for Riley but I was afraid he wouldn't do well in a new home so I got selfish and kept him...now I'd be scared for him to go anywhere! |

How is Lexie doing now? Is she still sick or did she get better when she made it back home and away from that nightmare situation. Some people are just a waste of air someone else could be breathing. |

What a sad situation! :( :( SOME people just do not deserve the privilage of having pets or kids! So...how is Lexi now? WAS she in fact sick and does she appear to be fine (other than stressed!) now?? In my "old age" I have the desire more and more to work in an envirement where I am helping or interacting with pets....but my heart would be broken everyday and my house would become a farm, no doubt!! |

It's such a shame there are people out there that seek out pets & then are so heartless to them. I can never understand why they even bother to bring them into their home in the first place.:confused:........ I'm amazed that when she turned the dog into the humane society that anyone even found out the dog was there. Thank goodness some how it was discovered in time. These thing are so sad to hear about. |
PS Another wake up call to people trying to find a home for their babies huh? I mean, small children may be one of them? And I am a mom of 3 boys so I'm not discriminating by any means....Research by both parties is so essential! And there seems to be enough people on this site who want a puppy who have contributed enough that you kinda "know" them and could trust them moreso than just anyone off the street? Well as I said, I'd have a house full of animals cause I think I'd be over protective of who was inquiring-lol! Not blaming the seller at all - the buyer seems to be the heartless one! And the "humane" society?!?!? ok! Again, I'm thankful she's safe... |
Andrea and Lexie should be home in about an hour and a half. Lexie was stressed but when I talked to Andrea she was sleeping comfortably during the drive home. I am thankfull to all of you who pm'ed me and were wanting to help Lexie. Andrea appreciates it too she just doesn't have access to the site to speak for herself until she gets home. I am absolutely horrified that this woman tried to do this and I hope she never gets another pet EVER! She doesn't even deserve a goldfish! She would probably flush it down the toilet just because she doesn't want to clean the bowl! |
I've noticed that this is being discussed on other sites. This is a good thing. Andrea told her to return Lexie and she would refund her money. Erika became belligerent and said NO, that Andrea had to come to Florida to pick up the dog and she cited the Uniform Commercial Code which is a federal law stating how "goods" are transported between states, etc. She began harassing Andrea and family with a barrage of telephone calls and leaving awful messages on their answering machines demanding wiring of funds and threatening to EUTHANIZE Lexie if they did not meet her demands. Erika asked for $350 for the allergy treatment, $ to spay the dog and her $ back for the purchase. Andrea was obviously distraught and agreed to pay a reasonable sum for gas, and a refund of her purchase but not the other. Andrea remained calm and compliant the entire time and has witnesses to prove this but Erika claims that Andrea yelled at her. |
She Hasn't~ Read my message yet...I hope she reads all of this and gets the point...SHE IS A NASTY PERSON! I am at work and I can't wait to get home and see my boyz...My husband and I accomodate to them not them us, we both sleep without a pillow because they lay on them, but they are so precious I hate to disturb them, I just smile and move over! haha, Everyone have a good weekened, I am anxious to hear the whole story, will try and check in B4 Monday, it is my 3day weekend and I will be playing w/ the boyz...:animal36 yml |

I know Andrea too. She is the sweetest person you would ever want to meet and she tries soooo hard. She lives just in the next town from me. She has had a rough time this past year. She had one pup she bought that ended up dying, because the breeder sold her a very sick pup (probably had Liver Shunts). Now this happens to her. You just have to be so careful, even when you sell. I am sure that in Andrea's heart she really thought her Lexia was going to a good home or she would not have let her go. And I am very sure that dog was healthy. She takes very good care of her dogs - just like babies - she loves each one of them very deeply. Andrea has called me on the phone - one time when one had a tummy ache and it was over the weekend. She was so worried. I think too that the person that bought Lexia and is on here needs to explain herself and tell admin why in heavens sake would sentence this dog to die! Because of this she should be locked out of YT. JMO Anyone that would try to put a dog to death - *&^()*&^$$$##^*((()(&&*# Oh, I just do not have the words I am so upset. T. |
