Sorry I dont mean to hijack this thread but here are some pictures from Last years Dog day at the Beach Waterpark. http://www.marchbanksfamily.net.invi...&st=0#entry107 |
Oh how cool is that!!! Loved the pics at the waterpark. Som friends of ours from Ohio tried to get us to meet up with them there with our son. We never did and now he is older now and probably wouldn't want to go. Maybe I will take my pups. (Won't he be jealous) Do they do this every year in September? |

chachi those pics are great, but i want to ask one thing to u all, plz dont take me wrong i dont wont to hurt any ones feelings, but is it advisable to swim with these much dogs in the same pool? i mean u knows that ur dog is clean and disease free. but wat if other's not, wat if they have some spreadable skin disease:eek: , i know that chlorine will kill most bacteria but is it still safe to do that, i do swim with arya in lake near my country home but wat abt many dogs in one pool and u:confused: |
4 Attachment(s) layla is so funny.. she enjoys the beach where she can gradually go in the water.. .pools. . not so much... here are pictures from our vacation this christmas... i had to put her in to cool her off.. otherwise she wanted nothing to do with it... probably because she fell in by mistake! |
We have a local lake/beach I wouldnt let my dog, kids or myself get in it. So much bacteria. But I would be more comfortable w/a pool w/chlorine. Most people that would have a sick dog they are not caring for are probably not going to pay for them to go anywhere. But people like that will go to the local lake (free of charge)& let their dogs & sick kids in, or them w/their questionable sores & dirty bodies, ewww, plus I have heard of people pooping & peeing in the lake-yuck. My cousins use to go to the lake-had constant bladder, kidney infections, always had strep, stomach viruses & fevers and they would talk about seeing poop floating in it. I would feel safer at a clean pool where you can at least see a turd in the water...I'm gagging now, ewww Quote:

in my country home we have our personal lake and so no one else can swim in that:D , but u are right about those conman lake, its possible:eek: , and now i clearly understood that, who can pay for their dog and will take to the pool, of curse they will be sure caring their dogs like we do:) they all will be spoiled babies lol:p if any pool day in my place defiantly i will take my boy;) |
mine love love the pools. you have to be very careful. i have had to run out (even with no clothes on) to pull them from the pool. mine is an above ground and they could climb the ladder and jump onto it. also, twice my muffie got water intoxication (very scary) and had to be in the hospital twice for that. just make sure if they are outside, watch them. we had a member last year loose their yorkie due to the pool. they do love the water, that is what makes it so dangerous. |
