Anyone having problems with Static?
 
My Mimi gets so static after she rolls around on the couch

Just look at her lol

I hate that I cant upload pics to this site, I always get an error message ughh

LOL!!! No I am not having that problem but i run a humidifier so I dont know if that makes a difference or not. That picture is hilarious

Now, that's a static problem! LOL! No, we don't have any trouble here but we have a humidifier built into the furnace and we're lake front so I think that helps some too.

HAHA! I too have that problem here :) I have a humidifier but it's not working all that well. Poor Simon, I went to give him a reward yesterday and he shocked his little mouth on my finger. He hasn't taken anything from me in 2 days :(

I love the pic too. My own dr has been on me to get a humidifier but lazy me keeps putting it off. I think for my dogs sake I will get one lol

I was grooming a customer's maltese and I felt so bad I kept shocking her every time I touched her

LOL Great picture. Maybe if you wiped a bounce dryer sheet on her coat this would help and she wouldn't get shocked. Poor little girl, looks like she stuck her paw in a socket.

Scampers gets a little static, never as bad Mimi though. I put the sea breeze oil on him though and it takes away all the static.

The protein coat balm from plush puppy helps too.

Omg I actually spit my drink!!:eek: What a cute picture! Poor baby! Grayson has the static going but he shocking everybody and his hair is short

That picture is priceless!
I got some of those really soft blanket throws, and the first time Jazz got near one he got a shock. Now when i am wrapped up in one of the throws watching tv, he will stand there looking at me, getting up his courage. Then he runs over the blanket as fast as he can and snuggles down on my shoulder so he doesn't have to touch the wicked blanket.

LMAO- That is too funny. Hope you didn't get any on the keyboard!!

RRC- I have one of those soft throws too and that is the only thing that has static on it and the furry kids love to lay on it. I guess it doesn't shock them though.

that picture is soooooooo funny.

You need a humidifier. Or put a big pot of water on the stove and let it boil all day. Don't forget to keep refilling it.

I have a little himidistat and I keep my humidity at 50% all the time.

It will help with chapped lips, rough hands, hang nails, static, and dry itchy skin.

:sidesplt: Oh, Mimi!! We feel your pain!!! :) We have had static worse this winter than we ever had ... especially me, everything I touch almost knocks me out of my shoes! Poor little Toto gets static face so bad! When Patrick was leaving for work the other day, he leaned down to kiss me 'bye and I almost knocked him out the front door!!! We still "spark" after all these years!! ;)

What a cute picture...we have a lot of static here, when Bailey wakes up in the morning her hair is standing straight up from her fleece blanket. I just put a tiny bit of Biosilk or conditioner in my hands rub them together then wipe my hands on her hair..it really tames it down..

Magic was having static all the time this winter....but I just recently bought a new (bigger) Chris Christianson brush and this one I bought is anti-static - and it works great...I love it!!
